Sport Republic went on a spending spree with the debt leveraged on the club. When they bought the club it had a debt of £70.8 mill and a turn over of £150mill.
The debt in last years accounts was £110 Mill and can only of gone up after another season in the championship. Turn over with a reduced parachute payment will probably be at £90mill.
Its unimaginable what happens to the club if we dont go up this season with no parachute payments next season.
Its a shame it took them 4 years to get their act together. As it now feels like they are building something special. |

I read that they needed “home grown “ players In their squad . Also there was some muttering both THB and Dobbin was a ffp move for both clubs. |

I had broadband and telephone with them . Was paying £33 a month which I didn’t think was great. As my contract ran out, they said I would be moving onto to the standard tariff of £55 month . But as a special customer they would do it at £45 a
Month . Over 2 years a saving of £240 they were trying to tell me. Went to BT for £24. |

We bought him for 12mill and he effectively left on a free. That was the only way we could get rid of him.
It’s a shame we didn’t test him yesterday.
Why do you keep go on about not wishing him ill. No one on here does. As transfer business goes he’s up there with Carrillo as a purchase. Back in the days of Nasty Nick C , you loved nothing more than banging on about bad signings and how much they cost in wages , NI ,bonuses, pension payments etc etc etc . Well Baz would be 20mill down the drain.
PS I was to young when Steve Middleton played, but reading his page on Wiki he was nothing more than Back up, playing 24 games in 7 years. Hardly comparing apples with apples. [Post edited 18 Oct 10:53]
