It has to be said that none of the on loan players have really cemented their position in the starting eleven. A couple of them are most definitely better than some of our own yet they continually get chopped & changed.
It was never clear under Sheehan nor is it now what our strongest starting line up looks like. As stated in the article the lack of staff with the right experience at the club is not helping. Due to this lack of focus survival is the only thing that matters now. The new coach has to identify his strongest players & play them. There is no room for experimentation or developing players whilst we are in the relegation mix. Survival first then reset (again). The lack of strategic direction on & off the pitch has been disastrous & it could still get worse [Post edited 4 Dec 18:05]

I am concerned about the stretch Tom Gorringe and Adam Worth are feeling. I wouldn’t know hence the test of time in the report. Apparently Twitter reckons Phil Sumbler is in bed with Worth getting behind the scenes information. I spoke to him today, as he stated, what info ? If he had any he would have reported it, he hasn’t. God there’s some clowns on social media.

I suspect we're in a similarish situation to the one we found ourselves in between 2016 and 2019. Well meaning but largely clueless about football American owners happy to provide funding but at the mercy of people they trust to know about football but might be a teensy bit full of shit. |  |
