I don't think this season should be done. There is no reason why we can't go on a run of wins to get us in the top 6.

As I've said elsewhere, go for the play offs but fail at that point ad then build for a promotion push next season (with new owners hopefully)

Just thinking, the downside of that is that SR will yet again have more cas in their pockets so will be even more reluctant to sell

If you think our current squad is now capable of promotion even with a few additions, I respectfully suggest that you get down to Bet Fred. We are now 12/1 against being promoted having been 5/2 to win the league outright at the start of the season. As for Aribo and Edozie. What would you do if your not selected to play but allegedly in the case of Aribo are paid £70,000 a week. Demand a transfer ? I think not.

Our squad "with a few additions" would be capable of promotion, yes. Not because we're any good but because the level you need to get into the play off places is pretty poor and from there it's partly down to luck, as we saw 2 years ago. So, we should be giving it a go, but it looks like we aren't. Without any additions, particularly a centre forward, I can't see us doing anything.

For many on here, surely this is living the dream, as they said last season all they wanted was to watch Championship football and never get promoted to the Premier League again. Sport Republic have obviously taken note. To be honest, whatever happens, people will moan. Some of the angriest and most bitter posts on here came when we won a few games. [Post edited 28 Jan 12:41]

Jo Aribo’s career is a footballer is the greatest Nigerian scam of all time. Only Sport Republic could have been thick enough to fall for it.
| You cannot reason a person out of something they were not reasoned into. |

If Carlos Kaiser had ever wanted to come to England, we'd have been the club to sign him: a highly lucrative career as a professional 'footballer', spanning more than a decade, without ever playing a game. Then there's the case of George Long. Has anyone ever seen him? OK, he's not being paid anywhere near as much as Aribo and McCarthy - not many footballers are - but, he's earning more than most people do in their lives. [Post edited 28 Jan 13:00]
