Bryncoch Inn 22:57 - Oct 31 with 5784 views | owainglyndwr | The EP today had a photo of fans Jacks and Redturds at the Bryncoch inn that will be watching Sundays. Not being funny but how can the Jacks supporters stand next to them because at the end of the day they are living local and to support the Redturds they are bitter and anti Jack. Correct they are just Anti Jack

Bryncoch Inn on 15:04 - Nov 1 by RuDeMan1970 | As good as it is that opposition fans can watch THE game together, I do feel aggrieved to see people dressed up in Cardiff's colours in a pub which is roughly about 8 or 9 miles from The Liberty. OK, you could argue that these are guys who've moved into the area (though with Caewern a stone's throw away from 'The Bryn' I doubt it) but could you honestly imagine the equivalent in the South Wales Echo - a group of opposition fans photographed together outside their local in Barry or Penarth? No, me neither. |
If I lived up that way still then I'd like to think that I would be able to stick my swans top on and go to the local to watch it. Taking the banter as you would. Honestly, as excited as I am about this game I'm starting to think that some people are miles off.

8 or 9 miles ffs. It's not as if it's outside the ground!! I obviously don't know but'm guessing that it's not these peoples first time in the area. It's probably their local where they drink 3/4 times a week. Why shouldn't they go there to watch the game on the weekend? This thread is crazy!

These are local people born and bread, maybe you think its normal, but with Cardiff fans attacking Swans school kids in the 70s to lots of crsp at Wales game to this very day of attacking Everton familied with kids. Maybe you are happy to sit in a pub with them but this would never happen in pubs around the Cardiff area. Has i have said previous they are Anti Jack | | | | Login to get fewer ads

It is "mostly" the older generation who follow them, loads from the age of 40 up. Then there seems to be a load of Jacks in the generation below. With them now getting into the Prem, that may change again now. What i will say is, there are loads of neath/port talbot kids playing in their various academy type teams, maybe that will have a bearing on it also.

A lot of these kids have Swans supporters as parents but I suppose it will stop them hating them as much when they are finally not selected to go all the way.

Not that i've heard of, but having said that, i don't know of any Jacks that drink there. The landlord is a SCFC season ticket holder too.

They are not shed fulls of cardiff in PT, I've lived here for 46 yrs, trust me, its hype, your not swallowing it surely ? Most of the cardiff few in the area are all older than me ;-) As i said check out Bridgend on a swans match day away, pubs showing swans games, two especially always rammed. Its no different, there are some on here who need to stop being so negative. [Post edited 2 Nov 2013 10:44]

Hype? The last 10 years maybe the balance has swung in favour of SCFC fans down there. I don't need to swallow anything, i was born there, work with predominantly Port Talbot people, and had more than my fair share of run ins with CCFC down there over the years. I did say it was mostly the older generation.

Bryncoch Inn on 13:29 - Nov 2 with 1000 views | beefy | About five years ago I was living by the Bryncoch and once or twice a week popped in for a drink. There were never many redbirds in there other than an old guy who would chat to Leighton Phillips now and again. Apparently though there were one or two in the council estate down the road.

Yeah that'll be Caewern estate. Funnily enough, one of their lot was called beefy.

Swansea stronghold Neathy, always has been. If you have had run ins, then we know each other, that is if you were part of the 'team' in the early 90's
