As good as it is that opposition fans can watch THE game together, I do feel aggrieved to see people dressed up in Cardiff's colours in a pub which is roughly about 8 or 9 miles from The Liberty. OK, you could argue that these are guys who've moved into the area (though with Caewern a stone's throw away from 'The Bryn' I doubt it) but could you honestly imagine the equivalent in the South Wales Echo - a group of opposition fans photographed together outside their local in Barry or Penarth? No, me neither.  |

These are local people born and bread, maybe you think its normal, but with Cardiff fans attacking Swans school kids in the 70s to lots of crsp at Wales game to this very day of attacking Everton familied with kids. It is "mostly" the older generation who follow them, loads from the age of 40 up. Then there seems to be a load of Jacks in the generation below. With them now getting into the Prem, that may change again now. What i will say is, there are loads of neath/port talbot kids playing in their various academy type teams, maybe that will have a bearing on it also. | |

They are not shed fulls of cardiff in PT, I've lived here for 46 yrs, trust me, its hype, your not swallowing it surely ? Most of the cardiff few in the area are all older than me ;-)

Hype? The last 10 years maybe the balance has swung in favour of SCFC fans down there. I don't need to swallow anything, i was born there, work with predominantly Port Talbot people, and had more than my fair share of run ins with CCFC down there over the years. I did say it was mostly the older generation. | |
