Small world indeed Haps, my family (on my paternal side) all grew up around East Ham, Barking and Ilford. As a nipper every summer hols I was packed off to Gran and Grandad's for a week (they lived on St Leonards Gardens, behind a huge pub on the corner of Ilford Rd - though I think that's gone now - edit: it has). Used to love it - the sights and sounds of the big city etc., and particularly enjoyed taking their dog for a walk in Valentine's Park and feeding the squirrels (not to the dog I hasten to add).
