So we now know Grimsby and Chesterfield are staying with us. That leaves one more to decide, Salford City or Notts County. Having been to both on many occasions, Salford is a shitty place to visit, Notts County is always a top away day. However, I can’t in all honesty want to see Salford promoted, so come on the Magpies. |  |

Should the Magpies get promoted we will miss the micro-brewery that sits adjacent to it. If Salford get promoted, that rids League Two of my four least favourite grounds, Bromley, Salford, Harrogate and Barrow, so I would be happy in that sense.
But how can the EFL be satisfied with grounds in League One having a capacity of 5,000 with merely 2,800 seats? Salford’s and Bromley’s away end will be sold out every week and regular travelling supporters be disappointed (as many of us were at Cambridge). Demand from Sheffield Wednesday could fill these grounds twice over. Bromley’s portaloos and away end catering were disgusting.
Comforting is the return of Exeter’s St James Park and its wonderful real ale facilities. Run by true fans that know what other fans really want rather than a sell out to Greene King’s chemically enhanced piss-water. Welcome back York and Rochdale. Looking forward to both of them and glad tin-pot Boreham Wood failed. We need proper facilities in the EFL, not non-league tented cow sheds and Victorian concrete terraces. |  | | |

Given that we have zero points from 12 over the last two seasons I'd be pretty happy to see the back of Salford plus Notts County are likely to bring 1,000+ fans to the JCS next season as opposed to Salford's 47! |  |

I'm torn with who gets promoted as I would also prefer Notts County to go up for their sake (and are more deserving than Salford) but home & away matches are better when playing Notts County due to their location. Whereas Salford is a tinpot ground in Greater Manchester with not many fans (esp with Utd & City nearby). But at least we can wave goodbye to the tinpot grounds of Bromley, Harrogate & Barrow (and the latter 2 can can say hi to S***h**d for us) .
It'll be interesting to see how the likes of Sheffield Wednesday, Leicester, Plymouth, Bradford, Huddersfield etc and their large legion of fans get on at Bromley (and Salford if they get promoted) |  |

It can't help that Old Trafford is actually nearer Salford than their own ground and it must be a very expensive day out to the smoke, what with the cost of everything these days.
Plus if you're from the area and like footy, you've probably had the chance to go to Wembley about 40-50 times in the last 25 years. If it's not ManUre it's the 115 Crew or both in either cup or the community shield.
Talking of which, will Pep be the new Lance Armstrong and get stripped of all his titles when the results of the inquiry are finally published? I doubt the ££££££ PL ££££££ will be as ballsy as the EFL. [Post edited 26 May 12:22]
