As mrhappy said he has informed me of his decision to give up the sponsorship of the Happy League. Even though his final season has only just started, I would like to thank him in advance for his genourosity in supplying the prizes for 13 seasons, for what is a free to enter competition.
As I am currently the administrator of the Happy League, it only seems right to me that I should takeover the sponsorship next season as well. That is of course only if there is no objections to this. As for the name change, all I would say it would be a shame to drop the word happy out of the title, because this is what the essence of the league is all about. |  |

Completely agree - Haps has created a lasting legacy for The U'sual, and after Pete's custodianship, you MFB have taken it to a whole new level. I think it is entirely fitting and appropriate that this remains The Happy League! |  |
