Week 29 Results BARNSLEY 1 HUDDERSFIELD 1 Huddersfield are denied a seventh straight win, as Barnsley came from behind to earn a point. There were 4 who got this spot-on, and 2 more had the outcome. There were 15 who predicted that Huddersfield would continue their winning run, with 8 going for a 2-1. COVENTRY 1 SWINDON 3 Swindon improved their chances of survival, but Coventry now look doomed after this bad defeat. Well done to basher2010 for being the only one to have this spot-on, and there were 5 who got the outcome. There were 14 who predicted a win for Coventry, with 7 going for a 2-1. PETERBOROUGH 3 ROCHDALE 1 10-man Peterborough get a comfortable win against 9-man Rochdale. Only 2 (mfb_cufc and Blue4U2) got this spot-on, but a big 13 had the outcome. SHEFFIELD UNITED 2 BOLTON 0 Two goals from Billy Sharp helps extend the Sheff Utd lead to 7 points, as they look like they will finally get promoted from League 1. This was the banker of the week, with 4 having this spot-on, and a big 15 getting the outcome. CARLISLE 0 PORTSMOUTH 3 Portsmouth narrowed the gap between themselves and Carlisle to 3 points, after scoring three goals in the last 17 minutes. Nobody got this spot-on, and there 4 who had the outcome. LUTON 1 PLYMOUTH 1 Plymouth came from behind to get a draw that keeps their automatic promotion on track. There were 11 who predicted a win for Luton, with 9 going for a 2-1, making it the most predicted score of the week. A mixed bag of results, means this was another tough week overall. The 1 all draws at Barnsley and Luton takes that score to the 30 mark for the season. That averages out at one per week, but there has been eleven weeks without one so far this season, so they are never easy to predict. Someone who picked the right games to finish that way this week was Sector4, as he got the Barnsley and Luton draws spot-on, and with two other outcomes, he is the weeks top scorer, with a decent 8 points. The other twelve 3 pointers were shared by twelve members, with the best performances coming from gsy163 and Blue4U2, who both got three other outcomes, to give them a good 6 points. In the Premier, we have a new leader, as mfb_cufc brings an end to the 14 week reign at the top for burnsieespana. The final Charity Shield spot continues to change on a weekly basis, and it is the turn of Sector4 to occupy that place for the first time this season, as his top scoring effort moves him up four places. At the bottom RSCOSWORTH gets his first 3 pointer for seven weeks, but still remains 10 points from safety. In Division One, just when he came under pressure to lose the lead he has now held for 20 weeks, basher2010 comes up with that Swindon 3-1, to give him a 3 point cushion again. It was after the Lord Mayors Show for Colukev, following last weeks magnificent score, but mrhappy fails to cash in. A rare 3 pointer for noah4x4 did help him move closer to the automatics. After two blank weeks, gsy163 was back to form, and his good week moved him up three places, and back into the play-off spots. With only 3 points between 5th and 9th, the play-off situation could be going to the final week before it is decided. After finally breaking his 3 pointer hoodoo, durham_exile will still fancy his chances of making them now.
