Fairly dull first half - thank god, however another stupid goal. But then some good lengthy spells in the second half, which we couldn't capitalise on. Still can't seem to coordinate putting a cross in and having a Saints player on the end of it.

Sulemana is very exciting to watch just needs that final ball.

Early days. Mostly enjoyable to watch, I'll take this as progress.

Awful. Defence got in a mess again. So many misplaced passes all over the pitch. Midfield was awful. Smallbone very poor. Attack toothless.

Tactics were a mess again. We are going nowhere playing like this. It was painful to watch. No one really looked interested. Is it just the tactics or is there more behind the apathy shown tonight?

That was difficult , the kids are out of their depth. Soon as I saw RM's choices of CB and CM my heart sank.

RM has lost the players. No hope of a positive change with him there. He started with a joke team sheet, conceded predictably, and then chased the game by subbing players on that should have started. And then lost predictably. Luckily he didn't seem bothered whilst he sauntered about casually with his hands in his pockets. No doubt thumbing his payslip.

Is Smallbone on valiums? Is AA only two feet tall?

Points are there for the taking in the Championship, partly because the marking is so slack compared to the Prem. We should be seizing on that to take us back: Attack the opposition's goal with gusto and defend like our lives depend on it (because they do)!

We are going nowhere under this guy. Mid-table obscurity at best. Perhaps we can stay in touch until we get a proper manager but what chance of that with SR making the appointments.

A team going nowhere led by a manager who has never been anywhere.

Supposedly all we have to do stand together and be brave, easy then should be no problem, don’t know what I’m worried about then.

Have saints turned a corner? Only 1- 0 against an in form team? Looked better when Bednarek went into defence and Charlie Pushed up to midfield?

Find out on Saturday. Same bat time, same bat channel.

Positives Bazunu, KWP had his best game in a long long time, looked a threat attacking, Bednarek was dominant when he came on and Charles moved into CDM. We did create a few chances first half an hour, but once we couldn’t capitalise you could see the confidence drain away.

Negatives Manning can’t pass, don’t know what him and Smallbone were doing, do they play in the same team? Aribo slightly more composed Djeneppo. Midfield was non existent first half. Build up was slow and uninspired, nothing to encourage the fans really.

If Adams had buried the chance KWP set him up with, we would of won the game, Ipswich were an a average team.

1 goal scored 10 conceded in the last three games is a terrible inditement of selling experience and buying kids , crap tactics, pathetic management and assett stripping owners. Oh for a Romou , Fonte, Lalanna and Lambert.
It's all just a distant memory.

Pretty average overall, we have become risk averse again, no one wants the ball for the fear of making an error. We do not move enough for a progressive passing game, although when we do it looks good and unfortunately we don't have the pace in defence to recover when it doesn't.
Another goal lost to a very young defender instructed to play out regardless. If RM doesn't compromise his beliefs, even a little, we are going nowhere.
Bednarek looked good when coming on and trying to organise the defence but he wasn't helped with a midfield that was hiding when the defence had the ball.

We made 2 big mistakes in this game One was punished one we got away with Charles we now know is a better DMF player than he is a CB
Stu Armstrong always influences play so should start along with Alcaraz and Charles in MF
Up front it's the same old same old missed chances Can Stewart be the answer Probably not on his own
