No, it’s not your imagination.
West Brom reduced their away section for a couple os seasons to just 2000 odd.
They’ve now upped it again right up to the permanent segregation barrier which I think is about 2800. |

The stupid song they kept singing “ let’s send the scummers down” is still sung by them now.
They truely believe they did , forgetting that had we won against Man U we’d have stayed up . You try telling then that though. |

I’d say you’ve got to look at the layers available and if the manger got the best out of them, it would be easy to say the two Dutch clowns Poortvliet and Wotte but the squad they had was always likely to go down that season.
1) Will Still I have no idea what his tactics were and he was going to take a squad that finished 4th down to the 3 rd division if he had stayed.
2) Steve Wigley if I remember his appointment was very strange I that Lowe originally said he was caretaker then it was Wigley himself who said he was permanent . I blame him for our relegation that season as much as anyone. The squad should not have gone down but by the time he finally got the sack the damage was virtually done.
3) Mauricio Pellegrino. Again he was taking a squad that was capable of performing to relegation. We would have gone down if he had stayed - similier to Still. |

Also last season the indications were we would also have different locations but when it came down to it it was just one , we never did get the reason behind it ? |

I’m probably in the minority here but the longer this goes on the more I think we should have sacked Tonda the moment it all came out.
Now 5 months after spygate reared its head we still have some form of sanction hanging over us.
Tonda will more than likely get a ban and we are going to have to look for a new manager, the ban won’t be for a number of games it will be for a period of time.
Assuming he is banned from all football he couldn’t work for the club , so it’s not like we can say here have 6 months off and come back at the end of the season.
The fact that Rob Edward’s names been mentioned is encouraging that the club are looking for a replacement ( if/ when ) a ban happens.
The way the FA have gone about things obviously hasn’t helped but he could get news of a ban just before our next league game, leaving any new manager little time to prepare.
All very messy . |

I must admit I’m against this too , and I enjoy a pint at half time .
Home games you’d have people going down sbd up fro. The concourse with their beers all fvcking game. It’s bad enough now in the 10 mins before and after half time .
Then, as others have pointed out beer will be chucked all over the show should we score away .
I think the police will have a big say in preventing this if it ever gets to parliament. [Post edited 24 Sep 19:00]

I’m not convinced we have, especially Parsons who’s so far off the mark again he probably just thinks he’ll get a fine - and how wrong was he when the original spygate broke.
Hopefully Spors is more switched on and has a few Irvin’s in the fire , but it wouldn’t surprise me if we promoted from within again. |

Someone put a seat plan up on another forum around mid day and looked to be quite a few left the.
I’ll be surprised if they’ve all gone, but the view from the upper tiers is terrible so could be every ones gone for the lower. |

Parsons handling of the spygate has been fvcking poor and blasé from the start. The muppet thought we’d just get a fine and wasn’t prepared for anything worse. In fact I doubt it even entered his little brain.
When the inevitable happened and we got kicked out he had to rush through the appeal, an appeal that was only based on a victim feeling sorry for themselves as they thought the punishment was too harsh.
Now the muppet is saying the club has been punished enough , again playing the harshly done by victim. Has it entered his head that the club was punished by the EFL and the FA are punishing Tonda and Tonda alone. What the club got punished will be no concern to the FA
If Tonda gets a ban he will be in the shlt as he’s going to have to get a replacement in sharpash. I hope Spors is more switched on then Parsons and already been looking just in case. |

Parsons whole handling of the spygate has been crap , how the clown kept his job no idea.
I hope he’s taking it more seriously this time and has sort very good legal advise .

1) had no real issues with the train , left parkway at 6:38 and got into Wrexham at about 12:25 . Having said that we did get an earlier train from Euston which ended up being delayed 30 mins / if we had got out original train (09:33 from Euston ) things may have been different. The diversions after Woking / before Woking reallly are pain adding an extra 30 mins or so to the journey.
2) thought Wrexham was ok for a small northern town , avoided the spoons pub and found a cheap pub down one of the ally ways . Will go there next season if neither of us go up or down .
3) we aren’t even going to make the playoffs if we can’t keep clean sheets . Or away form needs to improve as we can’t keep relying on our home form. Very pleased for JWP it’s proving a very good bit of business bring him back
4) lots of empty seats in the away end again .
5) agree about the blue kit - I’m surprised how many blokes over 18 actually wear it . |

Failure to replace Ross Stewart and THB is 100% down to the owners.
The big question is have the club a plan B for if Tonda gets a ban. |

I thought it was quite funny to be honest, a bit more original than fans signing “ you cheating bastards you know what you are”
As for Wrexham found their fans very friendly when we won 5-1 , completely different to their “ on line fans”

Just like they arrogantly thought they’d just get a fine for the original spying they probably just think Tonda will get a fine or at worse a touchline ban - let’s hope they are not in for another shock . |

Do people really count up how many tickets are left?
As for those saying we should have sold out , this will be our 5 th home game in a month , Stoke, West Ham, Millwall, Swansea and Bristol C.
As someone else pointed out football is not cheap and some will have to pick and choose their games, despite what some think.
There will be 27000 saints fans there today, which I think is a great attendance and shouldn’t be slagged off. |
