The Liverpool game looked like a turning point, the same for Middlesbrough, but Derby showed us this coach still doesn't know who his best players are, and the time for experimenting should be over. 10 games in should be enough to see what a manager is made of, so one more for Will Still. If he doesn't create a convining win then he should go. Shame Wilder isn't still available. |

Fellows is our most attacking player so it's surprising, but he may be more effective if he comes on at 60 mins when their defence is tiring. |

Absolutely NO. He was already slowing down when he left us, but he'll be worse now. And we don't need all those backward and sideways passes...we need players to speed things up. |

You didn't see the punch- up by the away fans coaches then? A few saints fans getting stuck in to boro fans, was stopped by security ...but created a bit of excitement. As for the Northam, they seemed pretty loud to us in the Kingsland North...but there were quiet periods when the nerves started to show. I thought Frannies tash had some pioneers in the Chapel giving it large to the away fans ...but I couldn't see and sign of resistance. |

Fellows looked better than Dibling! Thought Azaz looked good, Jander good, and Jerert put in some great crosses. Back line looked strong.....just missing that killer striker. |

Boro have only had one shot at goal, a free kick, we look much more solid at the back, credit to Still for sticking with the Liverpool game back line. Much better all round. |

Watching the TV let's you follow certain players and I kept my eye on Downs...every time he got the ball he lost it, his pressing was non existent and he never went faster than a jog. Compare him with A. Armstrong who puts on the afterburners for every ball. Hes a waste of space, Put him on the bench for the rest of the season, unless we're winning 4 -0. |

He had a big buy out clause, but we made £65m profit on sales this season so we would have had the money. Alternatively we could have got Rohl and not bought Downs, just plain bad decision making all round. |

To me this game at Hull has been our watershed moment, the point in the season when the majority of saints fans (but not the owners) realise that the coach can't cut the mustard. He's out of his depth and can't create a winning team, exactly the same moment when we were tonked by Bournemouth early last season...we knew then that Martin didn't have a clue about how to survive in the PL. As said above he should get 10 games, but that has got to be the cut off time. Let's hope the owners get it this time. |

Still explains why Southampton midfield partnership hasn't thrived | Daily Echo https://share.google/all3QZMTlZVRO3ygm They're still stuck in Rylan's sideways/backwards, especially Downes, which is what we were talking about earlier. Having a week to work on bad habits might help, but our lack of fast forward movement has been shocking. |

He's just taken control of a whole raft of new players, and some of them have been on international duty, Noddy. |

Pumping the ball up field rarely works when we don't have a big beast upfront, so let's see a quick combination of forwad passes, which we did a few times in the second half. This team still needs to gel and at the moment looks very disjointed. Positives: Fellows did more than Dibling and got several good crosses in, and Azaz looked like he's going to be a good addition. Didn't see enough of the other new boys to make a comment. |

Can't see Russball being taken up by any clubs from the top 2 divisions, English or Scottish. He might blag a game in the lower Saudi leagues. That's the next honeypot. |

Three more months of chronic uncertainty to come then. It will make the transfer window look like a table top sale. One thing is for sure; they will hammer employers again. It is the politics of cowardice and makes absolutely no sense in terms of employment, prosperity and generating the growth which is essential to repay the interest on our horrific national debt, let alone repaying the actual crippling debt itself.
