Another home game, another banner in the East Stand with a message to the Americans. I very much hope the club take their time on deciding on new/additional investment. The value of our club is going to go through the roof once the new TV deal is announced in March... |

Check out a fantastic documentary on Sky Sports this evening - the fortunes of Gretna who went from a villlage green outfit to a Scottish Cup Final and then disappeared. 630pm tonight on Sky Sports or OnDemand now. Also shows the risk when the club falls into one owner who then passes away and the family pull the plug on the club. |

Kev Johns led the Swans fans through the city centre as the protests against Tony Petty began. The night before we were all in the Patti Pavillion as the Swans Trust gained momentum with Nick Cusack and the players on stage. Historic moments in the clubs history. And for the record we lost 2-1 at home to Brighton in the LDV Trophy - Jonathan Coates getting our goal. Mike Lewis and Dai Southampton/Bradshaw opening the gates of The Vetch that evening. |

Frank Burrows left the club (we had lost 3-0 at Burnley a few days earlier). One of the great managers in our history. What is everyone's best memory under Frank? FA Cup 2-1 v Cardiff Play-offs 93? Wycombe 94? Wembley 94? I also remember him on the microphone at 245pm at Elm Park in May 93 begging the Swans fans to stay in the away end. |
