Reply Reserved seat stickers
at 17:00 14 Oct 2026

Thanks Judd,

i am not sure i agree. It will just lead to further over zealous stewarding (IMO).

The season ticket sticker does not have to say reserved it could say Season Ticket Seat - 2026/27 league games.

At least we now know which is more than before. The amount of times that the stands are full enough to create any tension is quite limited and that will remain until we surpass the project 5000 target.

1000 regular supporters who purchase match day tickets is fantastic news. Converting them to season ticket holders 27/28 has to be included in the master plan.

I think it’s pretty accepted that any away point is a one earned?

Especially in games when your second best like v Tranmere.

Anyway 3 decent looking games coming up. Crewe away then a Spotland double header Grimsby and Accy.

Dale found a way and the unbeaten LG2 run continues (5 league games).

I have no idea how.

Tranmere No 29 with the miss of the season, worse than Mike Fondop shooting wide at Spotland in the Oldham game. If it finished 3-1 we could not have complained.

There does seem to be togetherness building , something we had in spades last season and something that will serve us well as the season progresses.

Still work in progress with an injury list that gets longer with each game.

Its a strange league table at the moment. Crewe UNBEATEN in the opening 10 games and Dale could be just one point behind them come 5pm Saturday with an away win.

Again...

Nothing to fear here.

We are 4 x league two games consecutive without defeat (10 points) Hoping the recent upturn of form and fortune continues on Saturday.

Tranmere 2 points from 12 available in the same 4 game period.

The bookmakers however have Tranmere as warm favourites.

Tranmere win 1/1 Even Money.
Dale win close to 3-1 (27/10 Betfair)

Grimsby and Accy (our next two home games) should have bumper crowds…

To any lapsed supporter the matchday experience is a pretty good one!! Wanding and Kettling aside!!!

Swindon Town Home …

First time in ages no aggressive wanding / pat down.. Stewards hopefully have been spoken too and have a slightly newer / updated brief.

Pushing 4500 again so 4000 home fans there or thereabouts makes me thInk that with future incentives and another push on by the club project 5000 is not so far off as we think.

Winning helps of course and the scenes on 88 minutes when the goal went in off Hayes head was Brilliant.

Up the Dale!!!

Three wins on the spin…. Lovely.

Middleton Tasker and Flint my standouts but the whole side put in a major shift - good to see.

Hayes Cameo capped with a goal… some scenes when we scored our winner.

I liked the look of Swindon’s Aaron Drinnen. Thought he worked really hard and created Swindon’s better chances.

Such a shame for the lad.

All that potential and he ends up at AFC Phoenix bury.

Ref. Carlisle.. what is going on!!

Played 10 and won only 2.

No wins and only 2 draws in the last 5 league games.

As alluded thank goodness we made it back to the EFL last season.

Nothing to fear here..

Just like last Saturday a win will put us level on points with our Saturday afternoon opponents.

Exactly this.. can drink until 2.50pm if so wished.

Pint at 3.45 and as many as you like from 5pm..

Football has moved on and plastic glasses flying about with piss in them is no way forward.

Just why that trend has started is beyond me... (concert venues currently).

If the club read this (hopefully)

It wasn’t even a full gate…

Half a gate open the other half lazily left in position.l

Please post any club response… I guess there will be no repeat as the Oldham game is past.

Still really poor judgement needs reviewing.

Kettling is Never a good idea especially with the demographic of our fan base. Older and younger the point regarding trampling is a good one.

Whoever thought last season that it’s a good idea is obviously still in the same decision making role that is a worry.

Stewards would not even let an elderly chap use the toilet under the stand. Obviously customer service stops at the full time whistle.

Not good. Not good at all.

Regarding the Oldham fans chants…

1. Rochdales a shit hole..
2. Town full of Pedoes..

Really!!

Oldham should really take a look at its own town and read the papers regarding their own grooming gangs.

Absolutely delighted with the result and back to back clean sheet.

Working progress there is still a lot to still get right.

How Ramming thinks a Cruyff turn on his own 6 yard line is acceptable is a mystery. Practice practice practice and play the ball much quicker. Probably 10 or more times yesterday eventually kicked the ball as it brushed the laces of the on rushing Oldham player.

Flint had a shocker for 20 minutes.. then grew into the game and finished strong.

Best game in a Dale shirt from Brown (encouraging)

In my eyes we still look miles off.. and that might be a good thing if we are no where near our potential ceiling combined with week on week improvement.

Dale started well and looked to have a plan and some structure and some legs.. 15 minutes until half time though was a difficult watch as the plan unravelled probably as Oldham reshaped themselves. Individually we have some good players. I would just like to see an extended period of building pressure from both the left AND the right and of course centrally.

We have just won bragging rights and do seem to be heading in a better direction even though we will not get that same amount of luck / opponent incompetence every week.

Up The Dale!.

What was the reason the club decided no stickers on season ticket seats?

Today is likely to show why this is a massive oversight by the club.
