We do have a knack of putting centre backs at right back. Mbengue has done ok, but like Dunne it is not a long term solution. Even the left back position is an issue with RND’s fitness record. Can see major changes to the keeper and backline in the summer for next season. |

I’ve been to the Olympic ground a few times. You can walk through the shopping centre to the ground or there is a walkway round the side of it. All I know is I never want to be in that type of ground in the future. Would have been great to be going to the Boleyn this weekend. Remember the South Bank there and the old Chicken Run. |

Trains go back to Charing X / Waterloo area so anywhere around there and you’ll be fine after the game. |

There is also a women’s game against the London Bees in April to consider as well. If we progress in the youth cup, the Premier League Cup and get past West Ham in the FA Cup and get a home draw there will be more fixtures, plus potentially a play off semi final game if we continue to do well in the league. More pressure on the pitch. |

How long does it take to relay a new pitch? Can we do a remedial job before the summer as this can’t continue. It will have an impact on injuries and how we progress moving up the league. It’s actually embarrassing seeing comments on social media / tv from other fans of other clubs. Makes us look amateurish. We have had a bit of cold weather for the last few days (not exactly abnormal at this time of the year). So what is different to this year compared to previous years? We only relaid it fairly recently. Something has clearly happened. Surely the youth game on Saturday has to be moved to preserve it for the first team? Still radio silence from the club regarding the pitch. |

We all said the same after the game. The pitch has surely had an impact on all our injuries today. The pitch is getting worse. What are we doing differently to it this year compared to previous years? There are non league grounds with better pitches than ours. We need some kind of statement from the club to explain what has happened with our pitch and how it will be rectified moving forward. |

Stephan has one way of playing. He’s very stubborn and bordering on Warburton and Holloway. The Christmas period has been a disaster. 3 games against Pompey, West Brom and Norwich. All struggling sides and you can count on one hand the number of chances we have created. He’s clearly getting told by Ben Williams and the data boys who is available or not. We have had radio silence on JCS. No other side yesterday made more than 8 changes and we somehow managed to look even worse than the West Brom game. Too many squad players are just not good enough for this level. The constant changing of the keeper and defence is not helping. It’s not rocket science to know any successful side needs a consistent back 5. We change our back 5 every game. We must be the only professional team that rotates its goalkeeper! I couldn’t even tell you who our number 1 is which is farcical. The only player not being rotated is Dunne because I assume he’s the captain and has to play. I have struggled to warm to Stephan all season and the last 3 games haven’t helped. He needs a massive performance against Sheff Wed and to actually take the FA Cup seriously. If I turn up at West Ham next week and he plays a weakened side with kids he needs to go straight to Stratford station to get on the first train to Stanstead and get himself on the next Ryan Air flight back to France. |

And where is JCS? Plays 45 mins against Leicester and then vanishes again from the team. No mention of him by the club. More mystery surrounding a player whose contract was renewed back in Feb! Ridiculous decision from the club given his injury record in his career. |

Another million changes from the Tinkerman. Making no difference to what we are seeing on the pitch. Just play your best team. Those on the bench have to earn the right to get in the side. Strange how players like Dunne are always good to play. Even our keepers are getting rotated! Must be the only club where that happens. Stephan needs to learn quickly. |

The pitch was utter dreadful today. Was like watching a game back in the 80s. My football team’s pitch is better than that. I’m pretty sure it was relaid last year as well. Another game on Sunday and then they’re playing a youth game on it on Saturday! Whatever they’re doing it is shocking. I would not be surprised if the grounds staff are working remotely. |

Yes, there was an issue with our feed so I watched the WBA one and Andy Johnson was an absolute pain. He commentated like he was down the pub with his mates. He basically talked as if we were a team in the relegation zone! |

It defies belief the board sanctioned a long term deal to someone who is never available. Make it make sense! Sam Field basically plays these when he does in any position except his actual position of centre mid! |

I thought he was absolutely garbage last night. He played the other week and got hooked during the game due to being so poor. He’s not even been in the squad in recent weeks and got chucked into a night game at West Brom. Makes no sense. Could have put Field at left back. We also started with a centre mid at right back and a centre back who hasn’t played for 2 months. You could see last night’s result as soon as the side was announced. JCS played one game. Lasted until half time and has done his vanishing act again. I can’t believe he was given a new deal this year when he literally is never available except once a month.
I just wish we played players in their actual positions. Don’t start me on why with all our attacking players we started with Field in the number 10 role last night! |

Absolutely appalling this evening. Too many changes. Could see this coming once we saw the team. So frustrating as WBA were garbage at our place. We can’t just chuck the likes of Morgan, Esquerdinha, Field and Morrison on the pitch when they have barely played in weeks. Too many of these squad players are not good enough. Where was Mbengue this evening? JCS has vanished again? Why was Smyth not used? Team just looked too unbalanced this evening. Now piles on more pressure on the next 2 games. We are our own worst enemies. Really wished Stephan had learnt from earlier in the season with all this tinkering. |

Pretty sure they signed a 100 year lease for that ground. I’d be gutted if I had to go there every week to watch us. The complete opposite of the Boleyn which was a great ground. They should buy out their lease and move to a proper purpose built stadium. I’ve been to the Olympic stadium a few times and it’s terrible for football. Will be another team I’ve seen us play at 2 different grounds. |
