I cannot understand for the life of me when you’re playing a team low on confidence with no manager and you replace an attacking number 10 for a holding midfielder with the options we had on the bench. Really poor starting 11 in my opinion |

Look, I’m delighted we got a point but Preston were there for the taking from the get go. The team selection was appalling. Chucking in a 16 year old when Smyth, Saito and Lloyd were all on the bench. Unfortunate to have Vale get injured in the warm up, but why for the life of me replace him with a defensive midfielder. We are playing a side without a manager and struggling for any form. The game showed once again our inability to convert so many clear cut chances. The ref didn’t help. Gave them so much. The time wasting from their keeper was a joke but somehow was not booked despite giving us a corner at one point! How have the club allowed Kone to come back from pre season so unfit? That appears double standards if Kolli is deemed to be unfit to be in the side. Where was Obikwu today? Played a 10 mins cameo at Charlton and vanished again. That’s 4 games without a win and still only one win at home. I’m afraid this first part of the season we flatter to deceive and mid table it will be. Too many players are just not cut out for the intensity of this league or to last 90 mins. |

There are 2 sides to every story. The club have given theirs. We haven’t heard Kolli’s side yet. If true he was dug out publicly at the canteen by a senior member of staff (allegedly) then that would have legal repercussions I’m sure. You wouldn’t do that in any other work place. I’m sure one day we will hear what exactly happened. Does seem odd that Kone clearly came back unfit for the new season and has been allowed to play in games. You could see he didn’t look fit with how he was moving. Then we have Kolli in what it looks from the outside being treated differently. Clearly Kolli needs to knuckle down and earn his place but it does looks like consistency is not being applied to all the players. Still think Kolli is the best finisher of all our strikers. |

That was us a couple of years ago on my birthday when Chloe Kelly was in the away end when they dumped us out of the cup. Highlight of the day was a great few hours beforehand in the Fleetwood Cricket Club. |

So Arsenal have had another 3 game week with travelling to Naples in the week. We went to SE London. Another game right up north last night and the likes of Raya, Califori, Gabriel, Rice, Odegaard, Tzolis, Havertz etc. all played again. Most of our players can barely play a half without some injury and then vanishing from the squad for periods of time. We are incapable of playing our best team week in and week out to get any consistency. It’s ridiculous. I would have thought the likes of Arsenal prepare their players in a very similar way to us, but we literally sign players made of glass. |

So clearly Ben Williams’s big review / plans in the summer have gone out the window and we are 6 games in. He oversees all of this and somehow he keeps his job. If we keep doing the same thing we will continue to have players breaking down. I keep hearing that Williams is the person why Kolli is not playing. Not sure why a fitness guy has so much influence on squad selection. We have an injury crisis and our best finisher has been exiled. He needs match fitness. He will only get that playing. He’s a better player than Lloyd for example who just never seems to score. |

I was definitely slightly bemused by his team selection. It’s strange how certain players get rotated, but then others like Dunne and Edwards never do. It’s like they’re treated differently. Kone hasn’t looked fit all season. He has this slightly strange running style so something must be up. How is Kolli going to get match fit if he’s not being given a chance? Obikwu was on the bench in the week and then disappears for yesterday’s game? I thought Boro were ok, but nothing special. They were there for the taking had we played a stronger side. Smyth seems for example to be more effective away from home so maybe he should have started at Charlton? Poku is becoming a concern. Seems to do what Madueke at Arsenal does. He gets to in line with the 18 yard box and cuts back for a safe pass or puts a rather weak cross in. He needs to do what Saka does and get behind the left full back and get to the byline. His assist numbers are poor. He needs to be braver on the ball. Losing yesterday puts big pressure now on Charlton where our record in recent times is not great. Another big following as well! |

He’s been brilliant so far. Only slightly worrying rumour that I’ve heard is that he has only signed a one year deal. Anyone else heard this? Does seem very odd he gets bought last summer by Fiorentina in Serie A for 6 million. Then the next summer he gets released for free and he ends up down The Bush. |

It’s very odd Fulham play it as Mick Jones is very much QPR. There’s nothing Fulham to that Clash song. Suppose they just like the line ‘I live by the river’. But I don’t want us becoming like Arsenal with their horrendous North London Forever whatever the weather song. They have the cringiest set of fans in the land. |

The song was absolutely dreadful. Fans were going mental about it in The Loft. It’s like something someone has done for a Music project for GCSE. We have such a long history of musical greats connected to our club. Should have been a consultation with fans on this one. I hope fans complain to the club at supporterservices@qpr.co.uk
Will be a riot I reckon if they play that rubbish against Boro. |
