I had heard from multiple people towards the end of the season that Nourry and Hoos wanted Marti gone. Nourry (allegedly) was very open about how he hated the relationship that Marti had with the fans. They couldn’t understand it. There’s 2 sides to every story but once this all dies down I think all fans deserve to hear from Nourry why the relationship between Marti and the board had clearly broken down. On the whole we did pretty well given our injury situation and some of the poor players we signed. We have a big summer ahead and if we don’t get it right it’s going to be another season hovering around relegation which simply cannot be the ambition for the 10th year in a row. |

He should have been sent off. He’s denied a goal scoring opportunity on purpose. If his hand is not there then Haaland gets his foot there to take it round him and would probably score. Our refs are beyond poor at this level. |

I assume the club are trying to find a way to get rid of Marti without having to pay him any compensation. Otherwise whoever we bring in will mean I assume we are paying for 2 coaches at the same time. I imagine QPR are trying to prove that Marti was speaking to other clubs without their permission which I imagine is in breach of his contract. Simply Nico I am sure can explain better on this than of us. And I definitely don’t want Cleverley. All the Watford I know were so glad to get rid of him. His football at Watford was beyond dull. |

Heard the other night at Rangers the youth team have now qualified for the European Development League. They will have some decent trips next season apparently. Similar format to the Europa / Conference Leagues. |

What a great night in the Bush. We played really well. It was a pretty open game but we could easily have got another 2 or 3. Then had a couple of decent chances as well. They were physical and looked a lot bigger but we played all the football. Was very impressed with Wilkie, Tuck, the Brazilian and Morgan but they all played their part. The future looks bright. Poor support from Brentford. Shows the difference between us and them. No way would they have had this level of support at their place. Some of their players / coaching staff were properly rattled by our support. Anyway, the 3rd goal allowed them to sneak out from their big day out to get the 237 back to Twickenham. |

One of our most loyal fans and most Rangers fans will know him. He has his operation 21 May. He’s delighted we beat the bus stop lot this evening. Good luck with the operation Vic. |

I would say our stadium redevelopment or new stadium is the most important thing for this club over the next 5 years. If we fail to do anything then we will continue to fall further and further behind Brentford and Fulham. I happened to be going past Fulham’s ground this afternoon after their game. All their fans were on the riverfront there. They had music. They had the 5.30 game on. The fans were buying beer after beer (and Pimms). 99% of our fans just watch the game and go. There is no attempt to keep us in the ground and spend money. Fulham and Brentford have clearly tapped into how maximise revenue with their new ground / redevelopments. My experience of going to Loftus Rd has literally not changed in over 40 years. I go to the same seat through the same turnstile. My seats are like sitting on Ryan Air for 90 mins. I go for a pi55 and the bogs are still the same. I love it but my God we have to move with the times If we want to attract floating fans. The new training ground was very much Hoos’s project and he has delivered on it. Nourry’s legacy needs to be sorting out our stadium. The natural point after that will be promotion to the Premier League. Loftus Rd is just past is sadly. It has given me and my family so many memories but we have to move on. Its current state is not fit for purpose. If it means we have to ground share at Fulham / Brentford / AFC Wimbledon for 2 or 3 years then so be it. |

And this supposed redevelopment of the ground will see us ground share with Fulham whilst the works go on (allegedly). Either way we need to do something. We are literally the only club in the top 2 divisions who have done nothing to their ground of significance or moved to a new ground within the last 40 years. That is poor and shows why we have fallen behind small clubs such as Brentford, Fulham etc. |

Definitely don’t want Furlong back. He was ok, but nothing special. Had a long throw and that was about it! |
 | Forum Reply | Jimmy Dunne at 23:36 7 May 2025
The line Dunne has told the club is that he simply wants to play in the Premier League which I can understand. He won’t sign a new contract with us. I just don’t know who in the Prem he is good enough for at right back. He would be a squad player on a better contract we can pay him. I still feel he will go to Sheff United either way if they go up or not. Allegedly he was offered 3.5k a week more by them in January. The club didn’t accept their offer as Dunne reassured the club he would give 100% for the remainder of the season which to be fair he has. Just a shame we are getting nothing for him. |

I don’t care who it is as long as I don’t have to spend another season watching Chair unable to hit his corner past the near post. |

If John Terry ever became our manager I would be handing back our season tickets to the club. It’s going to be some coach who has come out top in Nourry’s algorithm formula. |

We met Richard Riley on the train coming back to London yesterday. He had been at Sunderland with his wife. He was very happy meeting fans. Didn’t even know what he looked like until yesterday! Definitely took from it he wants the best for QPR. Let’s see! |

FAO Charlie B… 1. What do you think is the ambition for the board for next season? We have now had a decade of simply trying to stay up with no attempt to even have a cup run. 2. What’s going on with our stadium? We are the only club in the whole Championship who within the last 20 years has not had a new stadium or had significant work on their current stadium. We continue to fall further and further behind other clubs in this area. Our ground has had no significant work in 40 years since we had seats added to the Loft. |

We have been told many times before the last game of the season. Nice to know so we can say thank you to departed players. We used to do end of season dinner and awards. That hasn’t been done since we went up. Most clubs do it but we never do. Find that poor. |

Someone on here said the final would not be at Loftus Rd. We have never been able to have fans at Brentford’s new ground so we should take big numbers there. I assume we will get a big allocation. Can’t see Brentford selling many. |

Well that was decent to watch after the debacle of the last 2 or 3 days. So Brentford play Southampton tomorrow night. It’s my understanding the final will either be at our ground or whoever we get in the final. Sounds like there’s various fixtures / charity games at our ground over the next few days so sounds like we are not protecting the pitch for next season. Harrodian U18s are playing Royal Russell U18s on Friday night at 6pm in a cup final for example. |

O’Neill definitely doesn’t live up near Norwich. His children are at school in London. He lives SE London. I’m not convinced by him. |

I have no sound but good to see the likes of Morgan and Kolli playing. |
