Yeah, Hull are much more direct and going at teams with a little bit of pace and physicality which seems to work better.
I went to see Brighton recently with a Seagulls mate. They were only playing Tromso, but the speed and power of their line-up in real life was miles ahead of where we are as a try to play good football Championship side.
Daresay Coventry will make a better fist of the parachute payments than Hull in due course however, as still expect both to drop. |

I always felt like our playing of Bastille 'Pompei' was a little tongue in cheek with its pre-chorus of "How am I going to be an optimist about this?"
Anyone know if that was a sneaky part of why it got played?
I'm honestly too busy chatting away to pay too much attention to the music, and the speakers are dodgy. It isn't a good song though, do feel for the lads who must have been over the moon...but it's just not a good song. Do fear for them with the attention seeking fans we have who are going off big time on socials. Hope they're ok. |

Always have done. Went to plenty of games at Griffin Park with friends. Not been to the new place yet though.
Good to see them doing so well. I don't have it in me to wish ill on other footy clubs (bar Chelsea and Luton.) |

I wasn't having a pop at either Bennie or Pearman.
Daresay I have been Bennie's biggest fan in my block of season ticket holders so far. Really think there is a player there.
Shall do more than simply state facts about the game situation they inherit in future, though much as I like Bennie I'm not sure it's enough to convince me to watch any Scottish footy. |

Forgive me if this has already been created, scrolled down the first page and that's as far as I went.
With a few QPR players out on decent loans this season, be good to keep tabs on them and any particular highs or lows. This probably harks back to my old Footy Manager days when I took in an inordinate interest in my loan system and player development. Even accused of running a puppy farm once.
Who do we have out on loan/about to go out?
Daniel Bennie - Dundee United (Scottish Prem)
Jaylan Pearman - Swindon (League Two)
Phil Sanyaolu - Bristol Rovers (League Two)
Joe Walsh - Wigan (League One)
Ziyad Larkeche - Barnsley (League One)
Kieran Morgan - Bradford City (League One - presumably.)
Harvey Boddy, Worthing, National League
Cory Adjetey-Brew, Worthing, National League

Bennie is 5 games in without a goal or an assist but two yellows.
Sanyaulo an unused sub yesterday.
Pearman - last 15 mins of a 3-0 defeat. Was 1-0 when he came on.
Walsh - WIgan seem unconvinced, and have seemingly signed a replacement as has been discussed.

He was hot property as a loanee target a couple of years ago wasn't he when he was at Sheff Utd.
Looked like another £15m+ player so gone slightly wrong somewhere. Probably at Stoke where he was on loan last year. |

While I had been to a fair few QPR games before this my first really solid memory of QPR was the wonder strike by Les Ferdinand in December 1994 as it was right in front of where we were in the Ellerslie. Just watched it back again, what a strike. Our pitch has come a long way since then mind (even last years.)
The first game I was taken to was a Spurs home loss to Sheff Wed a couple of years ago, where a very angry man sat behind us didn't stop swearing all game. Apparently my 5 year old self simply refused to countenance supporting them. |

Now that is a genuinely sad one. In an odd way, it was nice to inhabit the same planet as Dolly.
They may not have been written on the exact same day, but has anyone ever had a better professional week than Dolly when she wrote Jolene and I will always love you back to back?
Like others, prefer my country a little rougher around the edges but an enduring soft spot for Dolly. Always loved thst her husband was a roofer who she claimed had only attended two of her concerts, and stayed out of the spotlight their life together as it wasn't for him. |

It's going to be very interesting seeing how we go against Bolton who are much more likely to sit in the old low block. We certainly have the players to get around this if on their game.
Pompey set up was crazy against a side that can break like the Rs, as Clive said in the report others will watched that and learnt. Apart from Stoke who never learn anything. |

A great away day. It was baking hot sat in the first few rows, but a lot of fun was had in the away end.
There's a lot of promise and a lot to like about this team.
So impressed with Kamara when he came on, and a huge shout out to Adamson. I did groan inside when I saw him come on to replace Kemper but he put in an excellent shift there! |

It really depends on where on your body it is.
Things on big muscles are all absolutely fine. The closer it gets to sensitive areas and thinner skin like back of knees it absolutely sucks.
I'm fine with needles though, and honestly there's something quite meditative about the buzz of the needle and mild discomfort as the artist works away. |

I have a few tattoos, mostly watercolour style. They're just a part of me, and can't say I think about them too often.
Hiking themed one with walking boots and forest on left thigh.
Interpretation of Harvest Moon on left calf ('our' song, matched on partners right calf)
Rather large interpretation of 'the Whitsun Weddings' by Philip Larkin across upper right arm, shoulder and upper chest. Favourite poem.
Picture of a Pied Wagtail on left arm. Favourite bird.
Got it all done in Kentish Town, but the artist has moved away. I love them all, can hide them if ever 'needed' and generally a fan of tattoos. I do think they should be individualised though. Lots of blokes have such awful tattoos designed to make them look 'hard' that seem to have no meaning at all.
I can't get on board with neck and face tattoos though. |

If he couldn't be bothered (allegedly) on £200k a week at Man Utd, I dread to think what his approach would be like on £15k a week in the Championship.
Kinda bloke that looks primed for a Middle East gig. Real waste of talent, sadly most likely to be remembered for missing a pen in the Euro final (and all the horrid racist abuse that followed.) |

Personally always been happy to be upfront about my salary, as it is cultures of silence and 'we don't talk about money' culture that leads to people getting ripped off and being paid less than their peers who shout about it more. Lots of cultural factors involved, and tends to affect women far more than men. |

I have been a lone voice in my group of QPR supporters that genuinely likes Bennie.
He's got all the athleticism, and think he'll develop the nous, given a year of regular football. Look at some of his performances towards the end of last season vs how he started out, come a long way and I reckon a good Championship player is his ceiling. |
