Matos spoke at length on crossing the ball at the fan forum. He explained how a cross is a culmination of lots of different moving parts, with some players pulling defenders out of position, others taking up those gaps to receive the ball etc. It's not just a case of a fast break and speculative ball into the middle. It was very interesting and a far better reply that the question deserved. |

I think the idea is that he will develop Josh Key for the rest of this season. Ironically Josh had a great cameo when he came on tonight. All looking good. |

Joel Ward, ex-Crystal Palace. Sooner rather than later. Imminent even! |

Lose this and we're not even in the drop zone. Then we have 3 home games in January that are all winnable. We'll have a better idea after Blackburn on January 20th. |

We monitored it last season after bringing up the subject with Alan Curtis. Over 8 games, we were getting a yellow card every 3.5 fouls while the opposition were getting a yellow card every 8 fouls. Alan said he was going to forward the information, but it clearly hasn't made any difference. |

Swansea City make two changes for the Boxing Day trip to Coventry City as Liam Cullen and Jisung Eom come into the starting XI. The pair take the respective places of Melker Widell and Zeidane Inoussa in the only alterations to the side that started the win over Wrexham. Adam Idah, the matchwinner from that dramatic game, misses out through injury, with Bobby Wales named among the substitutes. Lawrence Vigouroux is in goal, with Ethan Galbraith, skipper Ben Cabango, Cameron Burgess and Josh Tymon ahead of him. Cullen joins Marko Stamenic and Goncalo Franco in the middle of the park, with Eom and Ronald on the flanks. Topscorer Zan Vipotnik leads the line for the visitors. Swansea City: Lawrence Vigouroux; Ethan Galbraith, Ben Cabango (captain), Cameron Burgess, Josh Tymon; Marko Stamenic, Goncalo Franco, Liam Cullen; Jisung Eom, Ronald, Zan Vipotnik. Substitutes: Andy Fisher, Josh Key, Jay Fulton, Melker Widell, Malick Yalcouye, Ishe Samuels-Smith, Kaelan Casey, Bobby Wales, Zeidane Inoussa. |

Not quite. It's Swansea City Football Club who are buying the stadium, not the owners of the club. So, it's the club that need to raise the money. This can be through a capital injection by the owners or through borrowing. |

We still need to find the money to buy the stadium. The petty cash tin isn't that big! So it's either raise capital or a mortgage. It is outside PSR, so that doesn't come into the equation. |

They are looking to raise extra capital to purchase the stadium from the council. I wonder if this is part of the overall plan to achieve that? |

Though Galbraith really happy could be a way of saying we want a few extra million for him! |
