What about Birmingham's luck against us? A perfectly good goal by Vipi wrongly ruled out for offside!

Add in Vigs is glued to the goal line, and Millwall were having free headers in the 6-yard box all afternoon. The winning goal was inevitable. In fairness, a great header, straight down and very hard to stop. However, we were poor all afternoon at defending crosses.

It was Galbraith who let Ivanovic turn and score for the first goal. He had a poor game today. Add in the last game where all the WBA chances came after Josh Key had gone off injured, and the future for Galbraith is not at full back.

Sheffield have called off, as have Rotherham on the other side of the motorway. Quite a few in that Yorkshire area in fact. The 'tactical' one seems to be out of form Portsmouth hosting bang in form Ipswich. Both Bournemouth and Brighton played last night, so was it really that bad overnight? Portsmouth dodged a bullet there.

Myles Peart-Harris is supposedly on the Oxford radar for a loan spell from Brentford. That would re-unite him with Sheehan after his loan spell with us.

West Brom won't be selling any more after yesterday's performance. On the other hand, we may well have added an extra 1,500 ticket sales as our home wins continues to extend the run.

It will be a great point when we draw on Sunday. Millwall have 27 goals this season; Swansea 26. Even Norwich in the bottom 3 have scored 28. So I'm going for 0-0 and I'll be happy with a point.

Is Vitor Matos a genius ?

Galbraith had a tight hamstring. Vipi said he was tired and asked to be rested. Hopefully both will start at Millwall.

Exactly. League points more important than the Emirates FA Cup.

Matos spoke at length on crossing the ball at the fan forum. He explained how a cross is a culmination of lots of different moving parts, with some players pulling defenders out of position, others taking up those gaps to receive the ball etc. It's not just a case of a fast break and speculative ball into the middle. It was very interesting and a far better reply that the question deserved.

I think the idea is that he will develop Josh Key for the rest of this season. Ironically Josh had a great cameo when he came on tonight. All looking good.

Lose this and we're not even in the drop zone. Then we have 3 home games in January that are all winnable. We'll have a better idea after Blackburn on January 20th.

We monitored it last season after bringing up the subject with Alan Curtis. Over 8 games, we were getting a yellow card every 3.5 fouls while the opposition were getting a yellow card every 8 fouls. Alan said he was going to forward the information, but it clearly hasn't made any difference.

Coventry City v Swansea City : Team News
at 14:25 26 Dec 2025

Swansea City make two changes for the Boxing Day trip to Coventry City as Liam Cullen and Jisung Eom come into the starting XI.

The pair take the respective places of Melker Widell and Zeidane Inoussa in the only alterations to the side that started the win over Wrexham.

Adam Idah, the matchwinner from that dramatic game, misses out through injury, with Bobby Wales named among the substitutes.

Lawrence Vigouroux is in goal, with Ethan Galbraith, skipper Ben Cabango, Cameron Burgess and Josh Tymon ahead of him.

Cullen joins Marko Stamenic and Goncalo Franco in the middle of the park, with Eom and Ronald on the flanks.

Topscorer Zan Vipotnik leads the line for the visitors.

Swansea City: Lawrence Vigouroux; Ethan Galbraith, Ben Cabango (captain), Cameron Burgess, Josh Tymon; Marko Stamenic, Goncalo Franco, Liam Cullen; Jisung Eom, Ronald, Zan Vipotnik.

Substitutes: Andy Fisher, Josh Key, Jay Fulton, Melker Widell, Malick Yalcouye, Ishe Samuels-Smith, Kaelan Casey, Bobby Wales, Zeidane Inoussa.
