| Forum Thread | What has Gao done well? at 09:32 30 Sep 2021
We hear a lot about apparent worse owners than Gao. Question is though what has Gao done well rather than the usual what has he done wrong. This may be a short thread but I’m open to learning about why some people think he’s actually a good owner. Remember it’s not what he hasn’t done or has done wrong, I’m looking for what he’s done well. |

Chatting to a Blackburn Rovers pal, who thinks we’re getting another Armstrong soon. Seems this guy has lot of similarities with Che Adams, as he apparently needs a bucket load of chances to score. He did though score a lot last season so must have something about him. |
| Forum Thread | Stoic dry bed brigade at 13:40 2 Mar 2021
I see every time we implode then the view is any criticism is ‘bed wetting’, which by the way is a strange phrase that I’ve not really seen other than on here. Although we have managed 1 point in 25 or is it 27? It’s ok and we shouldn’t criticise and instead we should accept the complete dysfunctional mess that is clear from absent owners to coaches to the marketing of kits. There are seemingly issues from top to bottom. But let’s all be stoic and not complain. |

Don’t know if this has been covered before as I’m not usually one for pouring over club finances but bloody hell what is going on at saints? Mortgage against SMS and the training ground? This is almost as bad as the club situation in the mid 2000s. And if this is true then as soon as fans come back if there isn’t a mass protest against Gao then there never will be. Appreciate though it’s hard for football clubs right now, but premier league clubs still have huge telly revenue and should be much more protected than other businesses. This is simply Saints having a truly appalling owner. There are globally tens of thousands of people with wealth that could transform the club, yet we get a billionaire that is piling debt onto the club. | Forum Thread | BBC T20 and diversity at 14:23 6 Sep 2020
So, they have two women, a former black player and another Asian guy doing a piece on what T20 is. The only white male presenter is Jimmy Anderson. I’m all for ethnic diversity and fully respect that 10% of the U.K. aren’t white. Nothing wrong with women presenting either. But shouldn’t the BBC be held to account for a completely unrepresentative view of the population and cricket in England? It seems now to have swung so far that unless you live in Enfield or Tottenham it’s not representative at all. |

Good to see he got a £10k fine. It should have been far more though. |
| Forum Thread | Anyone got a spare ticket for Saturday? at 13:16 27 Feb 2020
Thought I was out of town this weekend, but change of plans and I’m in London. If anyone has a spare ticket that would be great.. can meet at Stratford. |

We don’t seem to like it do we? This team really are soft centred. Considering this is England and it pi55es it down all the time, we desperately need a bit more steel in the squad. |

I was at the Desert Classic today but there was no sign of the legendary Dubai Phil. Is he still about, hope he’s ok? Maybe he’s in Los Angeles following Rory. |
