I, myself, was struggling to unravel the thread. But then it came to me. Morgan is the box-to-box number 8 that we have all been wanting. |

Poku played quite well. It's clear that he likes to run with the ball. Definitely not one of those players that endlessly lays the ball off and never takes it forward. If we can get the other positions right he can be a very important cog in the wheel. [Post edited 14 Mar 18:44]

I think this debate is for the end of the season but FWIW IMHO Nardi is a much better modern day keeper, the type we need if we are going to be a decent footballing team. Hopefully its academic for the moment if we get the remaining point or two that we need to guarantee survival |

I agree about Ronnie. Sheer class. Plus when he scored, that is the passion that I want to see. Elsewhere, good character shown through the team. Special mention to Smythy. Played the role well and lent valuable support to RND against their good right winger. Didn't agree with the subsitutions at all - bringing on two players who are completely out of sorts - both of whom didn't really help the situation at all. I'll put those down to Sports Science. And Spaceman, yes, take a bow. [Post edited 14 Mar 17:05]

Yeah, I agree. And we are coping with their wingers well, who are both good players. But we are giving their James in the middle of the park, too much time. Alemahyu for Hayden in due course this season please. |

Not another thread questioning his ability - that debate has been flogged to death. I think Richard needs to be given a game off. There's no way he can play at the level that is needed when he has played every game, often with very little reward to boost his morale. We need to get the below par and jaded players out of the equation. I know it leaves us short of experience but we need players who are firing right now. |

Good interview and I am behind Jimmy. Interesting that he alludes to more clarity being needed. If the players are 'honest', as he and JS (repeatedly) say, then something needs to be looked at because it is not manifesting itself onto the pitch. By clarity I hope he means that more needs to be done in terms of the players buying into and implementing the game plan/effort. From what I saw today several of the players clearly were not 100% committed to the plan/cause and the disconnect rubbed off on others whose standards/performances dropped. I know we are short of players but the management team need to test all of the players resolves now. I don't care how senior or talented they might be. If they are not 100% committed to the cause now then get them out and put others in their places even if it means we have 4, 5, 6 Devt Squad players out there. |

Kieron Morgan would be doing better if he was playing alongside Field. He's been moved from pillar to post by our Chef. How can he be expected to do well against that Boro defence when he is thrust into an unfamiliar role ? |

2-0 now. I don't know whether to laugh or cry. It's like being locked up in a room with the Crankies and unable to escape. |

I think Dunne looks resigned to our fate. After about an hour in games, when games are up, he just tries to hold it together and see that we keep 11 players on the pitch. |
