Although we looked alright on the rare occasions the ball was moved around with purpose and speed, for the majority of time it was the usual over-coached rubbish again.
Despite the upheaval, I'd actually suggest we've underachieved with the calibre of player we've got. We' re going to finish with a similar points tally to Maidenhead and Eastleigh.
I've supported Jim from the start but realistically I can't take another season of this style of football. |

I guess Jim made his mind up on Taylor after he was at fault for both first half goals at Aldershot. Hooked at half time and barely sighted since. |

Fantastic that the short term future of the club is potentially going to be secured.
My reading of the carefully worded statement is that, despite the wealth of the Ogden family, huge sums of money arent going to be thrown at the club to get back into the league. Thats my take on it at least. |

But the point remains that they've had ample opportunity to design some sort of solution for buying this football club on their terms and haven't taken it. And now there's indignation from them because another entity beat them to it ? I'm afraid that's not how business works. [Post edited 14 Mar 7:57]

Hopefully the Chief Exec, who seemingly can't even effectively manage an Excel spreadsheet of shareholders' email addresses, is also part of the outgoings. I've arrived at the conclusion that it's going to be more dangerous to oppose this EGM motion because a continuation of what we're currently doing is going to put the club into extinction anyway. |

Pretty comfortable until the penalty, 1 minute before half time. Looked a rash challenge from Taylor who was rightly hooked at half time. Second half performance was really disappointing.
There must surely be someone on a par with Mellor (or better) in the youth team, he isn't good enough even for this level. We should be trying to develop a youngster of our own between now and season-end, instead. Bad signing. |
