I think they both track back. Madsen did successfully in the last Norwich game for instance when Field got injured, prevented a cross from the goal line, and I see him cover back a lot. |

Possibly Frey is showing more than Kolli in training, Stefan said Kolli tended to have a good week, then a not so good week. Frey always looks good in the training clips they put out for what ittle that's worth. |

Maybe Chair is taking the corner kicks/free kicks because with his size Madsen is more useful in the box receiving them or obstructing their Keeper as I've seen him do, than Chair is. |

And showing the crowd and probably their owners repeatedly while their is action on the pitch. On QPR+. |

I don't think Field managed to clear the ball. A Norwich player got to our goal line with the ball but Madsen had tracked his run and blocked his attempted cross. |

Smyth scores, Dembele doesn't, or not lately. But absolutely no problem with using Smyth as sub. |

Hard to understand this. Furlong like Marti, looks like he's doing a very good job and he is well respected as well. His teams are apparently well coached with fluid formations Only a few months since we won the Premier League Cup and players from his teams have and are playing for the first team. What is the problem? |

I thought Chair was excellent Saturday, MoM and his best performance for a long time. Certainly, as long as I can remember (limited admittedly), and at least since the alleged brick throwing. |

Stephan said after the game yesterday that Walsh is fit again now, back training again. |

Not seen this mentioned but regarding the contract lengths isn't the reason for giving valued players long contracts likely to be to be able to spread their depreciation cost over long periods, which helps with the annual FFP situation, short term. |

I'm in Phuket. It feels very humid with thunder storms earlier today but the humidity is just 78%. |

Agree. I've posted a couple of times this season that I could see us going 3 at the back without your detail. If we went 3 5 2 it would also allow 1 of Chair, Dembele, Poku if he'ever fit, or Saito if he's not utilised as a wing back to play as attacking midfield. Same in a front 3 if we went more of a 3 4 3. As you say RND could probably play WB, he could probably also play LCB in a 3 as could Field or JCS if he gets fit. I think 3 at the back gives plenty of options and should solidify us at the back where, SU excepted, we have been porous, plus better allows 2 up front. |

It can't be easy to deal with "inhouse" with both Kolli and his Dad repeatedly posting "statements" on social media, and those contradictory. |

There was one excellent fast move out of defense in the the 1st half I think where we passed the ball forward with speed and great skill through their midfield involving Madsen and Chair but a slightly loose ball when we reached their penalty area meant it CTN. Haven't seen it again on external highlights but it was our best attacking move of the game for me. |
