I think Morgan's 1st 3 passes all went to an opponent, then he was caught the wrong side of an attacker and gave away a free kick in a dangerous position, all in the 1st 5 minutes. Then he seemed to disappear. Did get a bit better later on and made that one good pass. Not that impressed with him to be honest.
Thought Vale who probably had his best game yet for us, Edwards who probably had his best game since his return in his best position, and Smyth who never gave up on that run and shot that won the corner we got our 3rd goal from, were our best players. Dunne, RND and Mbengue did ok. |

Of the 3 Keepers we have I prefer Nardi. When he got back in for 2 or 3 games his work off his goal line showed improvement. Then suddenly he was out again. I'd prefer Hamer to Walsh as well. He should have saved their goal today, he was badly positioned but still should have got a hand to that. |

I'd agree with that though they'd need to be fit which Lukas may not be. But also not sure if we're allowed to register another player or not. Don't think we can if we have already named a 25 man squad without any "youth" player, under 23 or whatever the age limit is. |

Well we are currently 0-11 since Madsen went off injured against Southampton. I think that was a very significant loss to the team both in our ability to score goals and not to concede goals as is shown clearly by our stats and performances since he went off. Obviously being without our top scorer Burrell, best carrier of the football Chair, until now possibly our best wideman Pokku, plus the others has had a major impact too.
I think the impact of these injuries to key players especially where we have had inadequate back up all season (Madsen) is possibly undervalued, but it certainly does not help by continually playing in my view a poor Keeper Walsh when we have better Keepers Nardi and Hamer at the Club. Nardi looked to have improved his game off his goal line when suddenly given 2 or 3 games before Christmas before being suddenly dropped again. Stefan's stubborn insistence in not changing our shape must also make us a very predictable side to play against. But so many injuries to key players without the financial strength to have adequate back up is the main problem for me and the people running our Performance Group clearly need replacing. |

Relegation looks an absolute concern for me now. We are in free fall again. With the injuries we have now, kids already thrown in who are far from ready, and mostly kids on the Bench who are probably further off, we have a huge struggle on our hands. |

It was 0-1 to Southampton when he had to go off, so 4 against that game, 2 against SU and 4 again today. 10 in total. For me Madsen was doing a huge job holding us together in midfield and we don't have 1 player that can cover him, though we have had tough opposition. I thought Cook made some bad mistakes in his last game, Agree Edwards hasn't showed his form from last winter. |

Looks to me like they are continuing to use VAR in Norway's top flight League in the soon to start 2026 season The Clubs in the top 2 divisions voted to scrap it, but a vote that included grassroot Clubs (where it's not used) voted overwhelmingly to keep it. The Norwegian Football association got what they wanted. |

I agree with most of that. As you say we had Madsen playing at Hull. The hole left after his injury both offensively and defensively is huge and of course made worse by all our other injuries. Stefan appears to have tried to replace him with Morgan, but apart from a couple of decent passes and a bit of temper at the end he was mostly invisible against SU. The changes Stefan made 2nd half especially to 3 CB's seemed to help a little and if he can use Dunne, Cook and JCS at CB, MBengue and RND as the wingbacks, and all of Varane (if fit) Hayden and Edwards in the midfield, this should shore us up at least for Boro. |

According to Sinton and the limited QPR+ view we didn't go to a back 3 until the 2nd half with Smyth and Vale the wingback. |
