You would've thought he had some kind of notice period especially in the role that he was in. Maybe he'd resigned a while ago and had been working his notice period. The club haven't said anything yet have they? |

Seems a bit harsh to me. Over the course of his time there he seems to have done a pretty decent job. Appreciate they're on a bad run but can they really be expecting to be much higher? And they might yet make the play-offs. Be interesting to see who they bring in and how they do. |

Just realised that this was Cowley's 100th league game in charge and probably up there as being one of the most disappointing. Now ahead of Joe Dunne and level with John Ward for league matches in charge. |

I'd heard that it was only a one game suspension too although he might yet get a further suspension and fine for his reaction to the decision. The case won't be decided on until next week now though. |

From what was a very tight and scrappy game first half, although we did create three decent chances, it was very open in the second half and we were completely dominant and could've scored six or seven and had more than the one penalty given. I think Barnet made a change at half time that worked against them and for us.
Poor mistake by Araujo for their goal but he showed great attitude to come back and be excellent second half. Thought Akachukwu looked a really good player and showed that he was a level or two above at times. The whole team performed well and it was probably the best performances I've seen from Williams and Goodwin, despite the latter missing two good chances. Also three real quality passes for the non-penalty goals. |

His rejection of the contract extension at Col U to play at a higher level hasn't really worked out. I'd imagine he'll end up either in League Two or the National League next season although if Chelmsford are paying better than most then he might stay. |
