I threw the towel in when a certain age approached and to handle the bikes was scary .
My Fazer and Bandit were and are machines my joy , both great machines but my fear of trying to navigate the chaos on our roads these days , I gave up trying to stay safe riding .
A car has got airbags , roll bars and reinforced body design in the event of an accident .
On a motorbike in a RTA there is only one casualty to suffer sadly . |

That awful transcript of Ross and Brand was broactast live was later seen to be vile .
Taking a laugh at John Sachs daughter and having sex with her whilst the pair of cretains continued to giggle like school kids at this wind up pathetic attempt at humour .
Hope Brand is in prision for a long time now after this case , hope they throw the book at him .
Ross is still airing on Classic FM these days , a station I listen to daily albiet at the weekends and his slot are quite a good listen , films normally .
Due diligence and background checks might be necessary for our media luvvies . |

Seems like Burnham has kicked the Welfare Bill into the long grass and will not review it until 2028 , major front page headlines upcoming of course or a clever small print excuse .
Carry on as normal for the less well off , just how can you make this chaos continue .
Maybe obviously leaked out when all eyes are over The Pond and their Politics .
Very clever to get bad news onto the small column inches of page five in the Press .

Sadly says a lot of how often I visit Swansea Centre these days , I did not realise Wilkinsons has gone , likewise stores in Neath and Morriston again have closed down I read .
Did venture into the HSBC Branch a few weeks ago , The old Park pub way back in the days of my youth , no other banks available for miles arond me so a must visit .
Others with not the availabilty or housebound will now need to go online etc.
Given the current climate of cyber attacks I think us oldies are rich pickings for hackers .
Be vigilant of any dodgy phonecalls and never answer if suspicious of caller .
A Saturday afternoon match at The Vetch was brilliant , but that Tuesday night under the floodlights will live forever |

Trump claims if his name was on the Ballot Paper the Republicans would have walked it .
My treasured ability to put an X will depend on the political party I think are doing the best irrelevant of who my local candidate is who never bothers to knock my front door anyway .
Good news is oil prices are sliding downwards slightly , not that pump prices will react soon . |

Honda 90 , still the icon of Japan and their business forward thinking afrer Hiroshima .
They were and will be a head turner to view , sadly not many left around these days .
Puch or a Yamaha fizzie 50 cc was my starting point , it did have pedals as a kick start if you needed extra power to go up a hill though .
Last bike was a GSF Bandit which I have to admit had become of a bit of a machine to control at my coffin dodger age and stopped riding full stop .
Next Spring maybe revisit the showrooms again , that itch still needs scratching . |

Saturday Afternoon on The North Bank , walking back to where the Bus Depot is now instead of that Wilkinsons Swansea now has to tolerate .
The Sporting Post ink still stained your hands , but was a local post match icon.
Tuesday night under the floodlights will be a setting I will never forget though and them great memories still abide .
Comparisions to The Liberty will still be open to debate , I know my answer anyway . |

Starmer was useless and booted out after 24 months ,yet a newbie now has the power to run The UK as not my elected Leader at the ballot box .
There again Starmer and Burnham are jockeys on the same failed horse losing the will .
The incoming rubber dinghies daily cannot be stopped , really just why cannot any Politican have the spine to make the necessary call , sorry Human Rights and am powerless to act .

Reporting suggest another 26 killed lately on an aid station in Ukraine , just why are Russia targeting the innocents or long term really want press ahead with their invasion until the towel is thrown in and that victory is achived .
The Don is ready leave NATO at a whim if his decision making is to belived in whatever his allies are for now .
UK , Europe and Ukraine are a small fish in a big pool of baddies worldwide . |

Sadly lost interest in F1 when the main Channels lost the Broadcasting rights and never been bothered to PPV , and have never heard before of this fella name winning , but well done .
Not knocking the mainstream sports now not being free to air , their sponsers are the big money earners and subscribtion fees .
I still will not subsrcibe to Sky ,TNT and the rest of them as I refuse to pay and to the detriment of our upcoming generation of potenial sportstars of the future .
Easier to watch on tele instead of having a go yourself and in my case failing as a footballer down on Asheigh Road . |

Agree on this regarding Blair and his other half , both Human Rights lawyers and totally focused on getting these needy and necessary illegals into The Uk , we really need them and their skills as Doctors and Engineers .

Hence why no Government with any sort of spine will have the front up to really challenge the out of control welfare bill , lets not upset my voting demograhic or I will lose my seat .
Some talking head on the radio earlier blaming the Pension System and its drain on the finances , obviously straight out of a recent meeting looking for excuses at the chaos .
Wish I had the chance to explain I have paid my PAYE and NI all my working life , and if I default HMRC are quick enough to demand my back payments due over the next year please or else threats .
Paid into this system for 52 years and some nobody on air time thinks I am the criminal .
I am giving up on common sense from the people in power rapidly . |

This fraud still will not address the chaotic Welfare Bill in the UK we face and rising .
John Healy as per all Politicians said a lot of hot air but said nothing at the end of waffle .
Biggest issue is Welfare and another dodge the questions asked and fudge it .
Starmer as much as he was usless did try to reform welfare but was shouted down by his own Back benchers , think of our voters mun so lets not upset them .

Wales playing in Edinburugh and Dublin back in the day , been there on a good Weekend trip to follow the rugby , it has been great to visit them places and enjoyment all round .
Has Cardiff become a target for a few beers and a very long day on the lash for the daffodil wears masks , it does put me off going up there irrelevant of ticket prices .
Thank goodness there is no drinking on the terraces here , others will disagree of course . |

40 plus years working in local industry , now a relic of our past proud heritage here sadly .
Continental and 12 hour new shift patterns done for me , including the driving when after a bad shift I had to still be alert and safe to drive home over a distance .
Yes my body clock has been in turmoil since , I did escape at 60 albiet with the Pensions dramas that affected many of my colleagues , but it fell at a good time for me though .
Now stack shelves in a local supermarket on a part time basis , shifts do run late on occasions , but the pressure is off and I go home without my mind in a spin as was before .
Touching 70 next year and I suppose I still want the discipline to work even today .
Homes under Hammer and Bargain Hunt on tele are the alternatives .
Just keep going until the the time comes work is impossible would be my motto . |

I will get a hundred notes back as a token gesture , thanks for that but I am sure policies will be in place to claw that freebie back through other taxation written in the small print .
I really do applaud the tax rises on these awful pop up vap shops though , evereywhere .
Taxation on online gaming and the Companies involved , yes again from me .
The big Banks might see it as another nail in their massive gains in their profits and say I am out of the UK soon , Amazon to follow suit too .
Will Russia be happy with another £10 billion from the UK taxpayer into Ukraine .
Stock up on pasta , bog roll and bottled water , the end is fast approaching . |

His next move will be to appease Europe or The Don moving forward , allegedly he has started to back track on his original freedom of movement wish , lets wait until the next Election in 2029 and that voting pattern and result .
It also being reported by The Beeb that John Healy in his budget address , been leaked will cut taxation on gerkhins and marmalade sales to the customer .
Just wow as a decision and call whist gas and fuel spiral out of contol .
Spitting Image writers would be in their element on Politics these days , loved that show .
Sure the Lawyers and Court Orders would see an end to that humour now .
That taxation decrease will save customers £ 21 per year on their bills .

Go off on a bit of a tangent here and as I have banged on so many times , i will repeat .
My late Mother had a domestic originally from The Phillipines whist in Morriston , and also her partner was a cleaner who between them had to clean up human mess and vomiting so the Ward looked top notch for visitors .
Decent and honest immigration is necessary and I applaud them applicants here to work .
Sadly Border Controls and endless background checks are the get out clause for any freebies on offer will be in the meanwhile gladly accepted .
Them carers had a flat in Morriston and arrived every day on time , even asking for more hours to clean the mess we make post op , other locals will be glued to their duvet . |
