Albeit 17:30 rather than the good old 19:00, but the board have timescales too. Might be difficult for shareholders with day jobs, but much better than a morning. The board accepted requests for a time change at the last AGM and have acted upon the promise they gave. |

Like the old reserve games of yore. Gave a few of ours a run out in a meaningless competition that the club gets some financial benefit from.
Very cold watching from the Main Stand, and the iciness transferred to the pitch causing a few slips on the surface. Hope the frost covers are on tonight. |

I think his first name is really Tamworth. Shockingly inconsistent and favoured the home side massively.
A hard fought for three points, but how many shooting opportunities were wasted that would have a least offered the possibility of a goal if taken up? Could have made the game much easier on the pitch, and to watch off the pitch.
Was more a feeling of relief than joy when referee Tamworth blew the final whistle.
That said, top of the league will do very very nicely. Well done Dale (The team, not the ref). |

Tuesday isn't fab according to the BBC weather forecasters (who aren't perfect)

As of this minute, been speaking to a former Trust member who's resigned, and has just received minutes of the Trust AGM 2025.
I don't know how the mailouts work, but as a current member, no AGM 2025 minutes have been received in my inbox or in junk mail.

Brilliantly observed commentary as always. How good were Dale to watch? The tear-in at the end to Ferguson's snowflakery / $h1thousery mirrors how The Sandy saw his buffoonery last Saturday.

It was a pleasure to watch that Dale side today. Cool, efficient, brilliantly organised and always a man available to take a pass and move on.
We saw a bit of that last season, but no way did I think Jim would have us playing so well, so often. 11 wins out of 13 is beyond remarkable.
I could cite 6 out of that starting 11 today who played so well, any team in this league, and even the one above, would want them in their squads.
To date, the manager, his backroom staff and the players have got something exceptional going at RAFC. Long may it continue and credit their CV's, which will always benefit from having the "promotion" word inserted.
Stay here and finish the job you are more than capable of completing. UP THE DALE. |

After all the **** we went through with the Roger regime and hostile takeover, the fight we put in to save our club, the horrendous legal threats Dale Trust and our directors went through, today feels wonderful.

At last, we're experiencing the good stuff. Would never in my wildest dreams have seen Jim winning 10 of the first 12. A history making and brilliant start to the season, to which the players, the manager and his staff, and the Ogden family deserve every credit.

Some very reasonable points made tonight after a rare home defeat.
Halifax deserve credit for ensuring the ball was nipped away from our feet on many occasions in the first half. Great energy and commitment, which threw us.
Dale deserve credit for a proper fighting second half (and wise subs by Jim). The chances just didn't go in tonight.
We've won 9 lost 2 which is astonishing form. We can see the errors in team selection that cost us the defeats. I hope Jim can too. Sheet happens, but not that much these days. Still 2nd in the league with games in hand.  Tonight's visitors have played two games more with six points less.  UP THE DALE |
