Every Iron I spoke to on the way to the cup game would not blame a single away fan for never going back. They all hate the place with a passion! I was surprised how vocal they was about it. Didn’t hear a single good word said! |

Not sure how many we will get but 20% are always held back for General Sale. Its more on the points you have, than if you have a ST or Membership though.
Cant see it getting below those with less than 1000 points except for the 20% I mentioned. |

I sit in Lower Loft towards SA road side and its great that upper loft corner get Hello Hello We Are The Rangers Boys Going and keep it going for a good while, many around me also get involved, and when its the whole end its great. One of those chants that if people are brave to keep it going when it seems like it may be flagging, in the end more and more end up joining in. |

I have mentioned this story here before.
My lad was mascot at Coventry away for this game http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/h in 2010.
We was waiting outside changing rooms to meet the team before the game and Adel 'stormed' out. I briefly chatted but cant remember what I said, but his reply was a grumpy "He has put me on the bench" and off he walked!! |

Agree, but football doesn't always pan out like that!! Ask Luton and Leicester fans from the last two seasons how any assumptions of making the Top 8 played out for them!!

I actually think 5/1 is right!
A third of all clubs in the division will finish in the Top 8. That is a 1 in 3 chance if every club was equal, which is a 2/1 shot. |

Three of us grabbed tickets yesterday . I was waiting until when Portsmouth went on sale (saving £3.50 booking fee  )
I do think we could play a full/near full strength side for this one. 7 days rest after until first league game, will be great prep.
Last year Plymouth away was sandwiched between the first two league games so (semi) understood the thinking of resting. [Post edited 29 Jul 9:10]

I had one of the original Uuni ovens when they first came out before they re-branded as Ooni. That was about 10 years ago. Had that for about 8 years and then moved to a Gozney Arc XL which is an amazing oven.
Always make my own dough, keep it pretty simple at around 62/63% hydration and make around 6 hours before. Always use the Pizza App calculator as room temp makes a big difference to proofing and therefore amount of yeast required. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/
Mix all the dough in a bread machine (Dough Setting) for around 20 mins and then whack in proofing tray until 2 hours before and then I ball. (275g balls)

Not read all post so apologies if answered a,ready, but went to chat GPT to see what the difference would be if state pension had risen by inflation rather than the triple lock………
The difference is quite large over time, because the triple lock (introduced in 2010) has usually increased the UK state pension faster than inflation alone.
How the two systems differ
* Inflation link (CPI/RPI): pension rises in line with prices → maintains purchasing power.
* Triple lock: pension rises by the highest of:
* inflation
* average earnings growth
* 2.5%
Since 2010, earnings growth has often exceeded inflation, and even the 2.5% floor has sometimes beaten both.

What the impact looks like in practice
For someone on a full new State Pension, the effect compounds year after year.
* In 2010/11 the basic pension was about £97/week
* In 2026 it is about £221/week (roughly)
If it had only risen with inflation (CPI) instead, it would be roughly estimated at:
* ~£180–£195/week instead of ~£221/week
That’s a difference of:
* ~£25–£40 per week
* ~£1,300–£2,000 per year per pensioner
The triple lock cost the government roughly:
£7–£8 billion extra in 2025/26 / 2026/27
compared with if pensions had only risen in line with inflation. |
