What do you mean?
If you are referring to your lovechild, I have been even with what I thought, he was good in places, but that move on the edge of the box was stupid and we would criticise anyone had there been a free kick given. Its good to want to make amends for an error but not fly in to a rash challenge
Its not a blinkered view it is a fair summary of his performance last night - I am clearly not alone, but how would you view his performance, I am all ears - You can't make snide comments without a constructive discussion |

If you had been up against an England International for 70 minutes just 5 days ago and then giving it all for 45 mins in the next match whilst still not fully up to speed I think you would look 'a bit agricultural with the ball at times'
As I said, once fully fit he will be exactly what we need - As others said, Cirkin will be a good release for him once back so we are not hammering him game after game. |

Seen many suggestions that he was MoM last night - Not mine (that was Edwards) but he deserves his own thread surely.
He has played less than 180 minutes of championship football and has taken to it like a well fitted glove. Really does not look out of place and once fully fit I really think he will be the signing of the season. He had a blinder against Wet Spam with Bowen being kept quiet and last night had the freedom to boss that left hand side and push forward. That flick to Alfie for the first goal was delightful.
LB's are hard to come by, hell we have been through them, but think he is the real deal and really glad he is ours and not a loan |

He looks better on the right hand side too - more natural and I also think a lot of credit once again must go to JS who has got him playing to a higher level.
Some posters, including some on this very thread have criticised his crossing but I think it has much improved too |

Oak you must have read my mind as I was thinking about having reached the 10 game mark this morning
For me the best bits are:
1) one defeat in ten - And lets be fair we could have got a draw
2) 2nd best defence in the league, and for me that is the most important part
3) Consistently maintaining a place in the play offs
But the most exciting thing for me is the squad togetherness. They really seemed downbeat when Mbengue was injured last night and JS said it had tainted the victory last night.
I am quite happy to be sailing under the radar, and JS keeping everyone level headed and not building expectations. I find this side so enjoyable to watch at the moment, so well drilled and disciplined at the moment - I really think that JS and Nourry have constructed a good squad and very solid mentality around the place at the moment and whilst I am not sure we are near ready to be promoted it would be nice to be in the mix
LB has posted on another thread that if we are in this position come January then we should be attracting some players to give us the final push on and I certainly agree with that |

I think you do need a rethink, when it was 0-0 that cross by Smyth was sublime that was hooked off the line and their defender injured himself doing so.
Smyth is there to use his trickery and get into the box and even still I think he made a few good crosses. We do miss Saito or Chair for the left hand side
On the subject of Kolli, he was ok last night - A great shot had it been on target that would have beaten most keepers and a good set up for Vale's goal... BUT his defensive work is appalling. He tried to be too clever on the edge of our box and lost the ball and in his enthusiasm to retrieve the ball and make amends for his mistake committed a foul which luckily the ref overlooked because otherwise Derby would have had a free kick in a dangerous area. He needs to do the basics and clear the ball not try trickery in a dangerous area, he does have history for that and it often results in a needless free kick. |

Not Kolli's biggest fan but he's doing ok, apart from the nervy moment he a) gave the ball away on the edge of our box and then b) got away with a foul trying to retrieve said ball after his mistake
But other than he's not been too bad and good touch for Vales goal as others have said |

Exactly this, after what I saw last night I want Kemper to be fit for all our games and if that means subbing him after 60 for the next few games then I will take it. He was awesome and my MoM - I want him available as much as possible
He doesnt have the injury history that others do and for me is our first choice LB so lets look after him not burn him out in a game we were not expected to get anything from |

2 things amaze me here
1) How many had written us off before knowing the side or a ball being kicked - And one idiot pulls me up because I just want a decent performance and not fussed about the result.
2) How many people feel they know better than medically qualified people - because either that's the way it used to be or they want to see their favourite player for the whole match.
Some here need to get a grip and well done to the OP, I really felt we had a possible chance. We are a VERY well disciplined side compared with previous seasons and JS has got us playing quality football. If taking Boy and Smyth off last night get us 6 points in the next 2 games I will take it as I am sure many here will |
