WHU Tickets - Priority General Sale
at 12:06 19 Dec 2025

Hypothetically, if I was to borrow someone else's Client Reference number to buy a ticket for a friend, would that ticket be emailed to the Client Reference number holder, or could I instruct that both tickets be sent to myself?

This would determine whether I could log on at 5pm.

Several weeks ago I noticed the pick up in results and was listening to commentators observations along the lines of "This is a different Bears team". It prompted me to invest a couple of quid on them winning both the NFC and the Superbowl, just for the sake of a little interest in this season's end of season race. I did the same with the Jaguars on the. AFC side of things.

I'm enjoying the run. Long may it continue....

Having said that, it really looks wide open this year. I thought Denver were impressive last night.

Was the barman politely telling you that you look a little worse for wear and I'm not serving you any alcohol?

Lads. After hearing and reading first hand experiences from this community and your inner circles, and you haven't yet experienced this season's flu, why would you want to expose yourself to it?

Get the jab....

While it was a team effort to secure to that win, with notable performances all over the pitch, I thought both Dunne and Cook were immense tonight.

Brian, it's a story you're familiar with, but for the benefit of others.

"The Dodger. DJ Carey and the great betrayal."

One man's journey from sporting superstardom to the jail cell, with nothing to look forward to other than life as a social pariah.

It's the story of one of the greatest hurlers of all time, who retired with the world at his feet from a commercial endorsement perspective. Yet he threw it all away and then conned many people out of hundreds of thousands of Euro, pretending he needed the money for non-existent cancer treatment. The real figure extracted from the public will never be known as many victims probably haven't come forward..

Its QPR v WBA. Fans will attend for FOMO, IMO it's in their DNA, they love the LOLs and OMGs of a good day out. At the final whistle, some fans will need TLC. Their team's development will still be WIP and while their aspirations may need an SOS, they won't be deemed RIP.

My son's a Liverpool fan. On Wednesday, I told him that there was a choice between watching the Liverpool Champions League match or the QPR Championship match in the Living Room. I suggested that I wouldn't put him through the torment of enduring another Liverpool performance, so told him I'd be watching the QPR match in the Living Room and he could do whatever he liked. He chose to watch the Liverpool game elsewhere.

With 10 minutes to go in the QPR match, he poked his head into the Living Room and said "I see you're enjoying your night more than I am!". There is a part of me that feels sorry for him and saying "welcome to the what it feels like to support a normal football team". Another part of me did say that "I looked at the top half of the Premiership Table and didn't see Liverpool there, don't worry, Big Sam is putting his CV together, he'll keep you up!"

Asterisks*
at 13:25 26 Nov 2025

Asterisks here there and everywhere, you can talk about them all you like. But nobody ever gives Obelisk the credit he deserves for doing all the heavy lifting to enhance the legend. While the Asterisk is granted immortality by being included on your standard keyboard, where's the Obelus eh? ( The Obelus is the mathematical dividing sign by the way, with two dots above and below a horizontal line).

It's clear and obvious discrimination.

I was on holiday in Italy and saw a grinder for Parmesan cheese, and just thought that was genius. I bought one, brought it back home and haven't looked back.

The perfect match
at 23:20 13 Nov 2025

I have invested in season tickets for the Ireland home games for my son and I over the past few seasons. Tonight, we finally got a return on that investment. It was a special atmosphere from the start and simply got better as the night unfolded.

My son thinks it's the best home win since Germany ten years ago. I told him to savour this feeling, as nights like this don't come around too often for us long suffering Irish fans.

They Couldn't Wait Until Wednesday 10pm To Sack Him - QPR Vs Southampton Thread
at 23:30 6 Nov 2025

We had 12 corners and 40 crosses, but Southampton had 60 clearances. That suggests we didn't have players who would win aerial duels up front.

Burrell seems to me to need a bit of space to run into, like he did with his goal. He's not a target man who you can lump the ball up to and will lay off the ball to a supporting forward time after time. Kone's key strength is running into space too. Southampton sat so deep there was no space at all in front of their goal, which was utterly frustrating to watch as we didn't have the ability to play through that defense.

Was it a scenario where Frey could have thrived? But he wasn't on the bench.

Must create a Plan B, when persisting with Plan A of attempting high crosses into a box defended by giants doesn't work.

I noticed the two medics who ran onto the pitch didn't even attempt to massage the keeper's leg to alleviate any cramp. They just knelt down beside the incapacitated keeper and healed him through the medium of prayer. Hallelujah.
