I can't get my head around why the bookies have us as favourites to win the match. What do they know that we don't? |

I was really impressed by Como this evening. Without the ball they closed down space quickly in a high press, with it they were always moving the ball quickly to players running into space behind static midfielders and defenders.
It was like watching us.... |

I thought our structure, movement off the ball and quick passing ensured we collectively played as a better team than Derby tonight, so we won the game. That's as a result of coaching and training, with everyone knowing their jobs and where to be on the pitch. It was a very professional performance, while also being very pleasing on the eye on occasion.
I'm really enjoying what I'm seeing this season. What is our potential if we ever got everyone out of the treatment room and back on the pitch? |

Taty's touch map has just been highlighted by the Sky commentary team for the first 25 minutes. The only time he touched the ball was to kick off the match from the centre circle. |

I know there are ongoing comparisons between himself and Alan McDonald, but I recall Alan actually played in goal once upon a time, late in his career. |

I did the stadium tour a while back and we were shown the executive boxes which overlooked the pitch. All well and good and you'd think it was the ideal venue to wine and dine your clients while watching the match below you.....but no, it's not.
The catch is that some jobsworth has pointed out that it's illegal to drink alcohol while in sight of the pitch, even from behind a glass window. As such, the curtains in the executive boxes are pulled over during the match, to allow the corporate entertainment to continue in the box for those who wish to remain in there after kick-off. The match can be followed by such guests on a TV screen though, but I'm sure that's not the experience they might have hoped for! |
