2000 / 10% in our league. Assume the extra 1000 is that they’d struggle to segregate it otherwise rather than an act of bonhomie from David Sullivan.

Payday end of the week for most will probably slow things, particularly amongst the relative yoof. Fingers crossed for lower tier making it to the 1500 bracket but sounds unlikely.

They’ll be going purely off various stats and his were good for ‘chances created’ and probably the particularly dull pass completion. I didn’t come away from the game thinking he’d had a team of the week kind of performance.

Happy for Poku. There’s a player in there waiting to burst out if he doesn’t burst into a million pieces.

I’m sure it’ll be fine. Same allocation as Charlton which only just sold out. My bigger concern is not being in the seats three miles from the pitch.

He’s not to everyone’s tastes but I like him. Now and again watch an episode of the behind the scenes YouTube thing at Dorking and it’s good. It’s a hell of a story what he’s created there.

Reckless (yellow) - acting complete disregard to the danger or consequences for the opponent.
Excessive (red) - exceeding necessary force and endangering the safety of an opponent (Serious Foul Play).

I think taking into account how he catches him and the force of the challenge it’s closer to the former. It’s the reaction of the player and his teammates that sways the referee.

The classic conundrum of 4-4-2/4-2-3-1 and who benefits from which or some variant of but I think he and Burrell are better off with each other or Kone (when vaguely capable). Cardiff weren’t great but they were a real handful together. Really feel when possible it should 4-4-2 with Edwards in midfield for the best balance of everything.

Appeals hardly ever happen because they’re hardly ever successful. The ref has very clearly not seen it correctly and made a hasty decision under pressure but an appeal either not happening or not being successful doesn’t make it a correct decision, because it clearly isn’t if you have eyes.

It was as bad as they come but older and better players than him have wilted in the circumstances. Got straight up and had another go which forced a very good save. He’s not perfect but he’s cheap, he’s ours, he clearly sets the right example to other young players coming through on the effort required to make the most of what you have. Maybe it’ll never happen for him at this level but he’s giving it as good a go as anyone can.

Capable of game-changing brilliance but often quiet and either dismal or just not at all bothered defensively. Messi worked too hard to be one. Berbatov rarely broke a sweat. Being flawed off the pitch helps but isn’t mandatory.

The book about Robin Friday is one of my favourite football biographies.

I think both sets of fans know it’s the return match where there’s fun to be had. Far easier to police around The Den. West Ham only for an hour on the trains to London Bridge after but not before. That area they’ve marked red for the dispersal order is absolutely insane.
