The minimum £2.5M per year investment has to be put into context. Our whole matchday turnover for the year ending June 24 was just over £4M up on the previous year of £3.5M, it is not sustainable without the ownership paying for the academy out of their own pockets. I wonder if Ryan Maye has been brought in to oversee the implementation of Cat1 from the coaching perspective, we do seem to have a lot of coaching staff now. Somewhere at the back of my mind is that you have to be implementing Cat1 methodology for two whole seasons, plus provide documented evidence to support this on top of inspections. It is not a quick process. [Post edited 24 Dec 11:53]

I think the Matos statement "we have to build a team" is the most telling. It's all well and good having talented individuals but if they don't gel you don't have a team. We could all see for a while that on the pitch we were disjointed with no clear plan. Possibly by removing a very good player and inserting another not quite as good we could end up with a better team on the pitch. Not all our players are disciplined enough to follow team instructions, sometimes when when we see the team sheet or substitutions and wonder why this player is in and this player is out we need to trust the coaching team. Our best 11 players is not necessarily our best team. |

The owners have enough money to buy the stadium ten times over and some, they nor the club need to raise any money to buy the stadium. Because it is outside PSR both the stadium and the academy can have as much money spent on it as the owners like without repercussions. There is no delay in any prospective purchase it is just following the normal purchase negotiations that takes time when you buy anything from local council. I don't know how long negotiations have been going on, but from personal experience it can easily take a year or more. |

Lets be honest, tske Galbraith out of the equation how would you rate the window. In my opinion the starting 11 has not been greatly improved on last season. We can't judge the recruitment team on one player. |

Idah and Inoussa, your thoughts I'm not convinced. Burgess not included in the original appraisal? |

Wrexham are a PR juggernaut and the media are intoxicated by them, slowly they will be found out and the truth will prevail. They are a dirty, talentless team with a manager out of his depth. |

It depends how you look at it. All IMO. Galbraith excellent Widell good Stamenic good Samuels-Smith Benson Casey Yalcouye All loans and none starting 11. Idah Inoussa Lets wait and see at the moment I'm not convinced. Wales For the future, but do we have better in Wilson and Nzingo. Benson [not included above] Very hit and miss IMO plays better when he just defends and gives the ball to Cabango, shocking with his feet. So for the window on a whole I would give it a 7 out of 10 and promised so much more. |

There should be another 3 on top of the 3 it was clear for all to see. The referee should be stood down because of incompetence. |

Exactly neither come under PSR. If you can afford to pay £300M for the post office tower and mothball it you can afford to buy the stadium. |

I think he will go for the right deal for him and us but the summer would be better for both. I don't think he is a top 10 Premier League player and most of the rest could be battling relegation. Fresh start next season plus possible world cup exposure in the summer, a wait would be better for both parties. |

OK I'm being deadly serious here. If you think that is fact and you think it may impact you, see a solicitor now because its not and it won't with the proper advice. [Post edited 23 Dec 20:05]

Matos, meanwhile, says that as things stand, loan signings Ishe Samuels-Smith, Kaelan Casey, Malick Yalcouye and Manuel Benson will all remain at Swansea beyond the January transfer window. Galbraith 'really happy' at Swansea, says Matos - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/fo |
