I remember reading about Sid Vicious whom it has been said (from the likes of Johnny Rotten) that he was not in anyway mentally suited to be famous. A case of ditto Russell Brand.
One ended up in Rikers Island the other in HMP Wandsworth, fame led them down a very dark path! |

Perhaps its for when the U.K does not have enough energy and vital resources, because the country is overpopulated, has hamstrung itself with net-zero and has not enough infrastructure to cope with demand e.g. the concerns stated about the possibility of not having enough energy for future demands with the danger of future power-cuts?
When the lights go out? That is when the shelves will empty of toilet roll and bread etc? |

Sometimes with "one word against the other" cases there can be an element of doubt, especially if accusations come years after an incident is said to have taken place, unlike a murder case for example where there is other evidence like forensics etc.
The thing that I guess will significantly lessen doubt about Russell Brand in peoples minds is the fact that he gave off an undeniable impression that that he had sociopathic grandeur, was misoginistic and had little to no (Andrew Sachs incident) restraint by knowing not to go beyond certain boundaries.
I think if (years previous to court case or accusations) you asked people to name a celebrity that they think would treat women like absolute dirt I reckon his name would have cropped up time and time again. He gave off that certain type of vibe!
Fame for some has been the ultimate self destruct button. |

The power of being drunk on fame seems to make some individuals act in a way that they would never have if they were just a nobody in the street.
Some become deluded by it, the guy had women throwing themselves at him, and there was no way that he even needed to act in the way he did.
When celebrities get to a stage of having a "don't you know who I am" and law unto themselves mindset, that is when I guess they have well and truly lost all touch with reality.
Fame was the worst possible thing to ever have happened to Russell Brand. |

It was the weekend routine of bygone years, watching BBC Football Focus, ITV Saint and Greavsey as an appetizer before the game kicked off, entering into the Vetch and immediately/excitedly looking up at the camera gantry to see if the game was being televised and like mentioned i.e. getting the Sporting Post . |

Continuation of a society that destroys incentives and morale where people might as well p1ss all their money up against the wall, be irresponsible and do as little as possible rather than give it directly to the government? That will turn the U.K into even more of a basket case than what it is now.
And of course the brightest and best will leave the country and go to another. |

Yep, I have used another descriptive i.e. "taking the foot off the gas peddle". When people get punished repeatedly with taxes attitudes change.

It is indeed grotesquely patronising , like the complaints about Fiona Bruce because she called a black guy "black", because he just happened to be black.
The WOKE-droids were offended by the term "black", when I guess many black people wouldn't, because they would not see it as something to be ashamed of unlike the antagonists on a mission to be gratuitously offended on behalf of. |

I think it's about time that virtue signaling WOKE-droids stopped repeatedly placing victimhood upon people of colour!
If it's not slavery guilt, its Robin Di Angelo 'white privilege' guilt, or its guilt for shootings by police an ocean away etc.

25% - 30%? And to think its bad enough as it is.
I spoke to a young working mother of two kids who is yet to put her central heating on in September and October along with a retired lady whom I spoke to yesterday who only puts hers on for an hour or two a day.
And of course those energy costs will push weekly shopping/business costs up also, because supermarkets etc use energy also.
What awful times we truly live in. 25% - 30% is absolutely staggering! |

Seen a meme today that sums it up, it said....
“At some point we gotta stop asking to pay more taxes, and start focusing on where the heck all of our money is going”.
That says it all perfectly to me, because there are economically illiterate politicians in Westminster/Cardiff Bay who have zero appreciation of the value of money and zero experience of the real world outside of their own political bubble. |
