Talking of which,Tamworth in the middle of winter.......does next week's trip to The Lamb hold much appetite for the Club and fans? Whilst Dale certainly did well last season in the Trophy till the crunch came, is it a distraction now, with injuries, the pitch and Holy Grail of promotion?
We have a huge February fixture jam...(8 games) ....will we cope? |

I would have thought it was ideal weather for the heroic workers.....dry but chilly and a bit of sun.......easier for moving materials around without too much mess and dust.
I hope "our" turf over in Lincolnshire is being well looked after. |

Tanzania play Morocco on Sun 4th Jan (1600hrs) the latter finished top of their group so difficult game for TA.

Slightly off topic but still pertinant....I was talking to a Stockport fan a couple of days ago and
Corey Edwards name came up......what's the deal with this young fella. Apparently he has only been featuring in Cup games and was certainly not in the squad for the last 2 games.
He served us well at the back end of last season and with our midfield getting the odd re-gig there must be a place for him, if only at this stage back-up.
Anyone know what deal Dale struck with County? |

Morecambe were no mugs and ran periods of the game....it was still a good game to watch and Dale had to withstand an onslaught for the last few minutes and added time. But we stayed together and strong.....win and results have gone our way. I think at least a draw against Pools at the Wham will still see us top for New Year (check it!) which is fantastic.
Slight criticism today was the long kicking frm Broome was hardly finding a Dale player and therefore coming back at us and a better finishing team might have exploited that....but 2 super goals and riding high ce soir. Happy or what. |
