I watched Eastleigh v Brackley on Tuesday (2-1).......Brackley did nt seem to be the same outfit that gave us a good game a few days ago. Whilst not dissing the Spitfires either, I do think we should have enough to win.
SoftLad has been hypercritical of the Shots showing against Carlisle....he must get them charged up for York or they will succumbe to a 4th defeat in a row. He thinks they have a mental block against the top sides. |

Great rearguard display by the Shrimpers and Hogan in particular was outstanding.
Looked like they might just have done enough but Banks scored in 9 mins of added time,such a disapointment for Morecambe and Dale....having also missed their usual match penalty! |

Totally agree with that Dawlish......poor subs in retrospect. Don't like to critisice Hendo but he was thrown in and did very little. McBride should have bagged that clear cut chance......Sam Johnson is 8 feet tall he could have run beween his legs. |

Really really poor display for last five mins after a pretty inept 2nd half but we should have been home and dry at 2 up! One solitary point from the Shaymen.
York don't call it at one up, they go for broke and bang in 3! Far too casual from our lot.
We are off to face SoftLad on Saturday, and the Shots are on better form than us. I hope McNulty sits down with a bucket of popcorn and watches them tomorrow night. |

Great result and performance today.....but we can't shake those pesky Yorkies off.
At least they roughed up Halifax for us ahead of Tuesday......Scunny blow hot and cold, I hope they are the former against the Minstermen, but fear not. What is a slight worry is the rise and rise of Aldershot who dispatched Scunny within 35 mins today. The Shots are 2nd in the form league, better than us!
A game at a time and Dale are back on song....we just keep going. |
