When we signed him, my Dutch friend and several Danish friends said what a player we had. I posted this on here at the time. Last season it was a real challenge to not react to the abuse he was getting on here. Deservedly or not.
As an expat R in DK, its so great to see him coming into fruition. But I am worried we are over using him. The guy will need a rest at some point. |

It was indeed Warren Neil. If you are including the subs then its not a full English. Ian Stewart (N.Ire) and Jeremy Charles (Wales). Both subs used. |

I thought one of the reasons JS was appointed was he could deal with 3 games in 8 days. If his solution is to just play an unchanged team......???
Well I'll be butch'd.
I can understand if we had naff all on the bench, but we currently have first teamers who can't even get on the bench. Thats at least 9 possible viable alternatives. |

Looked like a group of players who thought they had already earned their wages this week and were being asked to work overtime included.
Theres a time to keep a starting 11, and there are circumstances when you need to change. Manager got it completely wrong today. |

No criticism of Steve Bould? He's our defensive coach.
Tbh our defence has resembled a circus frequently this season.
Considering where he came from, he must be as thick as... well, he's not that good. Either that or our defensive players are just taking the p.ss. |

Theres nothing like being in the actual country to learn their lingo. Immersion. Although I've been here in Denmark for 19 years and still have problems with different dialects etc.
Watching tv/films with english subtitles from the country has been recommmended to me several times in the past.
Of course, the older one is, the harder it gets. Also, us brits aren't that good with other languages in general. For many, correct English is a challenge nowadays.

This will be 2 home games for them this week, and we will have had to travel twice. Also they have an extra days rest/training opportunity.
A draw would be good return.

Thanks as usual Boston. The commentary (home based I assume) said at the end that we have picked up more away points than any other team in our league since the start of April.
Thats quite an impressive stat. I guess its because we like to counter attack. And tbh getting better at it all the time. I think with Chair now involved we can go a small step higher. |

My best mate (now deceased) was a fanatic Heerenveen fan and said we had ourselves a great player which I posted on here. Last season he kept telling me that we should be patient and we would soon see his true worth.
I trusted my mad dutch friend so said no more on here although I really wanted to defend him sometimes such was the abuse he was getting. I get enough stick from certain posters as it is.
