Yeah not an easy one but they should get through. If they win the group playing Mexico in Mexico will be very tough |

The pitch is flat enough to make that happen but I wouldn't trust this England team and even if we set them a target we're going to need to bowl a hell of a lot better |

whoever we get we must make sure we rest everyone as we usually do just to make sure we are Ok for the following 25 league games |

tomorrow is the key day of the series. Australia could win the game tomorrow if they get a big lead and get us a few wickets down which they really should do. Englands only hope really is get those 4 wickets early and don't throw wickets away. My money would be on an Australia win but it's a massive day that could still go wither way |
 | Forum Reply | Ashes thread at 11:06 5 Dec 2025
yeah thats the worry that we just get bowled out cheaply but could be an exciting one this if the Aussies are chasing 250-300 in the last innings |
 | Forum Reply | Ashes thread at 10:56 5 Dec 2025
The game is still there for both sides, don;t want to give Australia a bigger lead than 50 really and need to make sure they don't have a new ball tomorrow night so quicker we get these out the better |
 | Forum Reply | Ashes thread at 10:46 5 Dec 2025
Forme Englands biggest issue was always going to be bowling Australia out, just think we have a lot of bowlers who bowl the same way, all good but no real variety and in these conditions the Aussies are very tough to beat |
 | Forum Reply | Ashes thread at 11:54 4 Dec 2025
Will have to see how the Aussies bat but this looks a good score to me for England, I'd put us slightly ahead at the moment |
 | Forum Reply | Ashes thread at 11:29 4 Dec 2025
yeah they have done well, feels like the Aussies have let us off the hook here. |
 | Forum Reply | Ashes thread at 11:15 4 Dec 2025
might prove to be a mistake, if they had gone for the wicket England out for around 260-270 instead gonna be over 300 |
 | Forum Reply | Ashes thread at 10:40 4 Dec 2025
Brilliant from Root, so pleased he's finally got that 100 |
 | Forum Reply | Ashes thread at 09:49 4 Dec 2025
Dreadful from Stokes, just bat through the session nothing stupid and England have a great chance, now look like they'll be lucky to get to 300 |
 | Forum Reply | Ashes thread at 08:11 4 Dec 2025
Harry Brook is so frustrating, has ability to get big scores but does such stupid things. Just see off Starc and we are in for a big score but he can't help himself |

because the upper loft has very little leg room and you have to have some areas for seating The PU and Q & R blocks are the best in the stadium for atmosphere imo so makes a lot of sense to make them safe standing. Unless you build a roof on the lower loft the atmosphere is pretty quiet even with the safe standing, |
 | Forum Reply | Rail seating potentially expanding at 15:10 3 Dec 2025
doing the upper loft makes a lot of sense, the lack of leg room up there is unbearable, hopefully it ends up happening |
 | Forum Reply | VAR for corners at 12:37 2 Dec 2025
They need a lot less VAR not more. The Premier League is unwatchable these days, the rules seem to change every week |

It does all feel a bit Brexit now as in no matter what happens people are entrenched in their views. You could probably say that about most subjects these days, there is never any middle ground. I bash heads on twitter with Matt WInton a lot and I don't really have any problem with him supporting what Nourry and co are doing, I'm not blind to the good stuff but I do think some of the revising of history over Marti's time at the club is a bit ridiculous. For me, where I can't get on board with Matt is the notion that if you are in any way critical of Nourry/Williams or question what they are doing that you have an anti QPR agenda and want the club to fail. That's just complete cobblers but something he regularly accuses me and others of. I find that just really petty and vindictive on his part, he's old and wise enough to know that's rubbish but continues to push that narrative. Anyway I think it is very important that the club explain why Furlong has gone, that statement for his departure was basically a PR piece about the excellent aggresive recruitment was just pisss poor and said nothing as usual. |

completley agree, I'm just not buying into it's as simple as this is all on the manager. Of course he could have done better and his subs were bizarre but for the fitness thing we lost the game in the first 35 mins so I'm not sure it can be used as an excuse really |
