1 - If Scarlett was playing as well, as you are suggesting, then understand that he would not have been substituted at HT. He did OK and that is about it. The Manager should have started Saiko or Smyth & not Scarlett and taking him off at HT proves the point.
2 - There would not have been the need to substitute him at HT for more experience, as you say, if the Manager started the right wide player.
3 - Once again, if Varane was 'playing quite well' then why replace him. He should not have started when Vale got injured. |

I do not know how old 'the boy' is but he has not been involved much with the 1st team match day preparations, etc. It is massive change from the football teams that he has been playing with. Contrary to firm belief, whilst he has made a promising start to 1st team football he is not ready to start in these type of matches. Championship is 'shite' a lot of the time but it is hard, it is fast, it is physical, it is nasty, it is pressure, its very difficult from playing in front of 2000 crowds and then play with 15000 hungry wanting QPR supporters - he needs to see that 10 yards from the pitch.
He should be included in the 16 and get all the atmosphere, pressures, experience of 1st team football......getting ready for that most important day that he longs for. Use him in the 2nd half if the time is right - do not put him under pressure by starting him quite yet. |

It wasnt his best game starting about 30 seconds in, a couple of stray passes, but I am sure he was fit and ready to play otherwise he would not have been selected. |

Posters aint going to like this post becuase I am (again) questioning the Manager and his decisions.......
1 - Once again, the Manager got the starting 11 wrong - again. How he decided to replace Vale with Varane is baffling. I wonder if any of his assistants in the changing room asked him why Varane?? & give an alternative who should replace Vale or did they agree with the replacement player?? It must have totally altered our tactics & positions for the game which they had been working on during the week. Madness.
2 - The 'boy' should not have started and showed disrespect for the opposition, PNE. Play your best most experienced team from minute 1 - take no chances there was no need to. Wrong. He took him off at HT!!! He should be using him as a sub and introducing him at the right time during the game. Saiko or Smyth should have started.
3 - JCS left out of the side - why?? He has been decent the last few matches. Wrong. [Post edited 20 Sep 15:20]

These 50 fans, including me, do not exactly know the rules of the game any more, they change and have changed so much over the past couple of years it is difficult to keep up, for me anyways. I am confident 'our man' would have been shown a red card and if our Club think the red card was wrong then they will appeal. |

Shocking, it looked pretty painful to me, not sure how you know that he was acting, etc, etc. Have you ever been involved in a tackle like that???
Good job it wasn't your hero in that tackle , he would have been out of action for a month(s)!!! |

I will take Jimmy's error, he is probably hurting this morning, but the bloke is a proper player for us and massive to the Team - a Ranger. Top bloke too.
As for Lloyd, I got a lot of time for the lad but he should have scored the header, for sure. Not sure that he will ever have enough to play Championship football as a regular but not someone whom I would give grief to. |

Just look at Cirkin's left foot and how high it was, sliding in and no control and posters like Watford want to argue with the decision......hay ho!!! & he moans about my post- silly boy indeed!!!!

Big improvement from last year, fair play to him, praised by JImmy Dunn and he would not do that if it wasn't appropriate.
Perhaps, could along with a few others, done better for the PNE 2nd goal (including the keeper??). |

If the Club appeal and the appeal is successful then I will accept that I got it wrong otherwise as I have said then it was a sending off.
In my day those type of tackles happened all match long, many of them too......today it is not allowed and I do not intend to go through all of the reasons with you Watford - sorry. |

It was a sending off, it did not matter what the PNE players did. His only defence would have been if the PNE player who was involved in the tackle got up and did not stay on the ground.
Regarding the player not going off after treatment....I am not sure that he needed to leave the field of play because he was fouled by a sending off offence. I am not sure - I'm sure Norf knows. [Post edited 20 Sep 9:34]

This manager or whoever runs the team match affairs is the reason we did not get 3 points today.....that person(s) is 100% to blame.
1- Why would you replace Vale, an attacking players, etc, etc, etc before the KO with a DCM player in Varane. Why would he do that??? Does anybody know why-madness!!!
2 - Why would you leave JCS on the bench??? Why??
3 - Why would you start Scarlett???.....ahead of Smyth/Saiko and then take Scarlett off at HT???
The person with the power who picks the team is costing us 'big time.......we have 3 points now from a possible 12 against very average Championship teams. |
