There's definitely a general problem with making it far too easy for teams to play through us, and I'll use as evidence once again the persistent failure to contest throw ins. That's a basic at any level isn't it? It doesn't require any great level of ability to reduce the options for an opponent's throw. |

Managers can never win with this unless we're winning nearly every game. If they're not tinkering or playing tombola they're only playing their favourites or flogging them to injury.
If they change the starting line up after a win they're castigated for changing a winning team, if they don't they're castigated for not bringing in fresh legs. |

No sane manager is going to deliberately throw away points by making a 'gesture' to the board when he's quite capable of making his views known the normal way, ie in a meeting. |
