This is right up there with the worst 45 mins in a while
Our midfield is non existent in defence - they’re literally taking four touches and passing to who they want and strolling onto every second ball. And and non existent in attack - nobody showing for the ball or able to pass to anyone except the centre backs
We knew Madsen was important but it turned out he was our entire midfield
Varane has been absolutely hopeless
Every time we get the ball and look up we either pass to them or miscontrol the pass and give it away |

The away game was a comprehensive doing and that was with a semblance of our first team, not The Walking XI that will step out tomorrow
All indications are awful, also not going as 4.30 on a Sunday is no time for a football match

I honestly think Celar getting injured kept us up last season.
After his double against Cardiff he’d have probably got another ten games doing the sum total of fk all.

I don’t think the optics around loans are going to overcome the main problem with Celar, which is that he’s completely useless (apart from one game). |

He’s working his bollocks off up front without a proper settled partner, in his first season in the highest league he’s ever played in. I do get frustrated with him sometimes giving it away or running into blind alleys but overall you have to show him total respect for the effort he puts in, never ever hiding, and getting his goals
He’s a weird player in that he looks like he should be fast but he isn’t, at all. But up front as a target man he takes two centre backs to keep him quiet and he also never stops closing down

Different era to a lot of you fellas but I was lucky to live in Leeds in the early 90s and saw some brilliant bands in the Duchess of York pub.
Oasis, Pulp, Longpigs, Mansun, Kenickie, most of the subsequent Britpop royalty passed through there. £5 to get in and £1.50 a pint of Tetleys

Noticed on the ITV highlights this weekend there a lot of pitches getting muddy and cut up now, it’s not just ours
I don’t see why football has to played on perfect pitches anyway, it was always part of the game. Means you have to adapt your style |

Today’s results are making me feel weirdly optimistic
Nobody is making a run for it at all, and we now know how to keep clean sheets and unless we’re being fed lies have a host of good attackers due to come back (Chair, Poku, Burrell) plus the new kid
A decent set of results now and no reason at all we can’t get top 6 |
