It’s not great. But even if it was quite good, London Calling is one of the most iconic songs ever written so why would anyone decide it needs replacing? |

I’ve got my ticket. I might be naive but I’m expecting a full strength team akin to the last preseason friendly (but with some added edge). For that reason I thought it was a great idea to bring the League Cup games forward to a week before the championship starts. |

Lots of comparisons to Southgate and Paul Hart, very much spot on. Also made me think of Redknapp in the play off final where Clint Hill effectively subbed himself off to keep an outlet in Hoilett. Could’ve done with Clint next to Tuchel last night. |

Also it is hard to describe how David Coleman in the 1978 World Cup could make a simple “Kempes. 1-0.” sound so majestically poetical. |
