I’m far too busy heading and kicking every ball out of our box.
Incidentally I went up front second half and buried Adamsons cross to the back post. We definitely won 3-2 despite what it says in the papers.
Why do we only do the Kamara song away from home, that’d be great coming from three sides of the ground. |

We’d do well to get more than 5 points from that lot.
We will likely find ourselves on the back foot in four of those five games, certainly first half. Get behind in those like Preston and there won’t be any Lazarus like comebacks. |

Premier insisting 15% of new deal must be sent on infrastructure.
That should mean some new design seats that offset the appalling legroom and maybe a bit left over to upgrade the tannoy system in SAR.

Was going as mental as anyone when Smyth smashed in that equaliser, loved that second half.
Trouble is, walking out at the end, the reality dawns. I’ve seen that first half performance against utter shite time and again, it’s in our dna.
In honesty, many no doubt long term supporters, like myself, fully expected that shit show, it never goes away.
Bolton shite, Preston shite, everyone of any calibre smashes them, but not us.
At half time those winners who were presented on the pitch must have wondered wtf they were watching, it was embarrassing. That has to stop. Do the same at West Ham or anyone in the top half and it’ll be game over every time. |

Great second half, exciting, I get all that, celebrated the equaliser like we’d won the league, done that many times too.
Trouble is, we don’t win any leagues, we win fck all, and if you think that was like a win, then we might us well pack up and vote ourselves 15th place for evermore.
The first half is what everyone should be concentrating on, if we’re ever going to compete. |

Son can’t make the game today but I shall be watching Preston North End so he doesn’t have to.
Before the game the players should be shown videos of all the 1990’s games against PNE, of which there were none, proving to them that it is possible not to have to play them every fckin season.
Raise your game boys, it’s your time to put one, nay two divisions between us so future generations can be rid of this fixture, permanently. |

Thing is, he’s not a winger, he can’t play in between those wingers and the fella on his own, up front, is making a pretty good fist of it.
When we revert to two up front it’s largely about putting pressure on defenders and the one who can’t be named doesn’t fill that criteria at all.
Unless we change a system that’s got us into the top 5, exactly where do we put him?
He’s another one designed in the no 10 production department in an era where no 10’s predominantly don’t fit in.
Simon Stainrod was a great no 10, John Byrne was a great no 10, neither of them would have fitted in this team either.
The ultimate no 10 now would have worn a no 8 shirt back in the day and called himself Gerry Francis. |
