Watford away under Ainsworth, about a minute after the team sheet came out. Remember the good old days where you could pay for your ticket with Gallen or Furlong as first scorer. |

Think the real problem is a lack of senior players who know their way around the Championship. Last night, 7 of the starting 11 had either had only this seasons experience or their second year of experience. You can get away with that when things are going well, but it doesn’t take much going wrong to ruffle these players. Think most of the other disasters since Xmas have involved 7 or 8 in the team. Of those 7 I’d say 5 have gone backwards and the other 2 are around the same form as their inception. We may point to injuries but to my mind, think the only experienced player we lacked last night was Chair, we simply don’t have enough of them. I get the concept of a buy to sell club but it takes a bit of savvy to know when to rein it in, and Nourry probably doesn’t. |

Vale disappointed me last night. He’s a decent footballer but those two free kicks and a couple of ludicrous offsides he got himself in suggested he maybe was less than interested in us winning. In a strange way I can tolerate errors with some players, when they simply aren’t good enough, but this fella is. Not acceptable. |

Mr Edwards, we’ve paid £4.5 million for you, welcome to the club. Just one question, we don’t actually know where you play, wonder if you could help us with that? |

Great write up and good luck. What do you think with No Drama This End tomorrow? It’s a funny looking horse that looks a bit confused at times, but I really rate it. |

Let’s say a Warnock or a Neil walked into the meeting, did a nodding dog act to get the job, then decided fck this, I’m doing it my way, the players see someone who’s his own man, started winning games, do you really think Ruben would kick him out? Owners want winners, players want a manager they respect. The latter will never last long when the managers a lap dog. |

If that’s right, that’s frightening. Have to say though, any manager worth his weight would stand at one end of the table, place his elbow in the horizontal and sweep the entire table into the bin telling them you won’t be eating this any more. Whether we like it or not, we can’t keep employing managers who let someone else wipe their arse every morning. |

If that were true I’d have thought any professional sports club would have shown him the door. Then again… |

Warnock scathing about what these players are getting away with. I can’t see JS surviving much longer. |

Late change of mind too. We decided we couldn’t be arsed with a Sunday evening meaningless match. Watching the warm up and listening to Sir Neil suggesting we’re too soft. Not far wrong IMO. |

Now you tell me that, even in the land of everlasting mediocrity, both Bristol City and Preston have been in the playoffs, that’s a low blow at a time like this. As for VAR, I must have been asleep, but if that is implemented in the Championship I’m going to be having a serious think about renewing the season ticket. What a time to be alive. |
