Wrexham 2 Swansea City 0 : What a waste of time for a sold out away end
at 01:22 14 Mar 2026

100%. But he was looking tired. He looked wiped out. Problem really was know one stepped up in his role. Yalcouye didn't have a good game and usually adds some creativity. Cullen did very little. Eom was OK. Widell didn't do much either. This time round Subs added very little.

Wrexham 2 Swansea City 0 : What a waste of time for a sold out away end
at 01:13 14 Mar 2026

I mean not sure if it wrong subs, too many games in short space or time or just individual players. But as soon as Ronald and Franco came off the game changed. Yes Wrexham set up defensive, but not sure why we just kept playing backwards. First half, excluding the goal for me was really good. Franco could of scored in first few minutes, penalty shout and VP. But I felt we gifted that game and not for the first time this season.

I'm in the mindset that trouble can land on anyone's doorstep at anytime. We never know who is around the corner. Clearly with his reputation he attracts people who want to test him, but as saying goes, no smoke without fire. He has only himself to blame and deserves everything that comes to him. We all have a choice and he chose to be that type of person. And he won't change.

I got a good feeling about tonight. I think we will get the win. Play Key who's confidence will be high, maybe Yalcouye too. I'm going for 2-1 Win. At some point we have to start converting our home form to away.

Anyone complaining today needs a day off. We was brilliant for first 15 minutes. Stoke started to press and they was lucky to keep a few players on, foul on Franco towards end of game, few others early on. A penalty should of been given to us for foul on Galbraith. The ref knew he had made wrong decision on the initial foul from Sorba. And clearly the ref and all lost there heads and realised they would of been a lot of backlash if they aloud there goal to stand. We have struggled alot to break down teams who sit back and irrelevant of them being 10 men we played well. Sometimes it can be more difficult to break down teams when they sit back. With an experienced manager and few tweeks we did well to counter. Key was brilliant today, give him props and Tymon. Enjoy the win.

Swans focus : Anthony Backhouse : Is he fit to referee ?
at 11:26 1 Mar 2026

The worst thing is, the amount of poor referees we have had and to be fair other teams as well, means I have gotten used to incompetence across the board and when watching it never surprises me anymore. Doesn't make it right, but you have to start questioning why it's happening.

I won't lie. I'm not advocating in anyway Matos to go... That would be mad
... But he has to get a hold of this team and our recent performances. I would love the question why we are playing more like a Sheehan/Williams/Martin team recently - Slow and Labored. His starting 11 for me has been questionable for a few games even if rotation is needed, and individual players are letting him down. But he has to try and fix even if it's temporary the RB issue. It was an issue with Key and now it's an area every team targets. I enjoy and appreciate alot of what Matos has brought to the club and he deserves time and a transfer window, but the Basics are lacking at times, is it tactics or individual players? I'm no expert, but Matos has to work this one out. A win next Saturday at home will be a good start.

I am confident we will secure championship football soon enough
Tymon had a shocker today and we'll on Tuesday as well, but he has improved his defending and is the best with assists, so gets a free pass from me.

Ronald for me though I want him to improve is just not good enough. Eom has potential, and I just don't know.

The problem is, if we get rid of Ronald and Eom, we are gonna have to really get 2 players who can hit the ground running. We have not been blessed with our Wingers for a while and though I am not advocating the devil you know, I fear we get rid of the rubbish to only bring even worse.

That aside, I do hope Matos isn't encouraging backwards play, something that has been creeping back into the team recently.

To be honest. I have 0 clue with this side. Either we show signs we are improving or we look like our old selves. On paper, we'll in my eyes we look like a potentially competive squad. But something is off. Is it individual players or tactics? I still think Matos has to move Galbraith from RB now, how much more does he need to see? Yes Key was terrible and Ward might not make the 90 minutes, but it doesn't work. Ronald looks like he is going backwards. Eom is an enigma.

If you want to be ruthless.

Sell - Cullen - Ronald - Eom - Key

Buy - RB - 2 Decent Defenders - 2 Wingers.

But who knows... I want Eom and Co to work, and they show glimpses but its to far and between.

Fantastic Keith. It annoyes me to see them steal without reference to the Indy, and that's a point of view of a fan. Can't imagine how Fustrating it is for you and the team.

It says alot really and speaks volumes that if the senior reporter is also doing it then it gives a mesage to his team that they have a free pass to steal.

I really do hope they are punished for this, I have had 0 interest in there articles for years and when I see it pop up on NewsNow it is laughable

Nice to see Wales Online Senior Reporter is leading by example and did a report on ebay towels for £100. Clearly no limits.

Preston North End and that Cullen header

It was a pretty hard article for many to take. But it was accurate. Can't get away from the fact we was terrible in the first half. Based on Matos press conference today, it was said some players was at the party on Monday. Not sure if it was the players being overwhelmed, tired or poor tactics in first half? Either way players should of done far better.

On a side note, £100 for a Snoop Towel. Looks like the apple doesn't fall far from the tree with Wales Online. Even there Senior Reporter loves to take things from Indy.

They will try and quiet us with there aggression to press from the off, but I can't see anything other than a win for us tonight. As many have said if this buzz and crowd and positivity doesn't motivate the players to get a win then we have 0 hope. No pressure lads 😂🎉🎉🎉

Tough win and messy one. Really happy we got that over the line. Yes things to improve but sometimes a win like that means a little more.

Totally it's a balance. The club in recent times hadn't helped it self with its communication with fans. You would like to think when and if the club grows then there customer service and overall approach to fans improves. It should be better now, but it's not look at the way they acted with the ticket issues to well my usual complaint of Swans TV. If they don't improve then a larger magnifying glass will be on them when more eyes and people see the product and it won't help there cause.
