China - World war three in the offing?

At the start of the conflict it seemed like some people on here did not know about Nazis in Ukraine.

Celtic v Rangers cup final

The Celtic v Rangers final was a poor advert for Scottish football, I was expecting a better game than that, anyway Celtic have now caught Rangers h2h and on trophies won.

The point is they should have been in the football league at that point and if they had been 'elected' like they should have been they could still be there now.
They did finish 4th in the Conference (National League now) in the early 90s.

I wonder if Swansea would potentially be high for neo Nazis as a proportion of the population, what do you think as regards Swansea and neo Nazis, is there a problem of such behaviour in modern Jack land ?.....hmm

The UK deports illegal immigrants, shouldn't an independent Palestinian state also have the right to deport illegal immigrants also.

Indeed the right wing influence creeping into the Swans supporter base is worrying as it's not a huge jump to go from British Nat loyalist types to Neo Nazis.
This is a new development occurring this century as regards Swansea football, Swansea was a very Welsh club prior to being infested, it's very concerning.

Absolutely but people on here don't realise Ukraine's history of such behaviour they think Putin made that bit up.

I think Ukraine has a few more neo Nazis than Wales does.

Ukraine did have a lot of Nazis in the 40s mind, many concentration camp guards were Ukrainian and of course they have lots of neo Nazis in modern times also.

No not really as Merthyr won the Southern League something like 5 times during the late 40s and early 50s, making them basically the best non league team in England and Wales, but they weren't elected to the football league (no automatic promotion in those days, Wigan Athletic tried join the Scottish leagues when they did not get elected), nothing to do with their standard, they beat the Swans infront of 35,000 people in the Welsh cup final and i think they beat Cardiff in the final at the Vetch during that period as well, both football league teams of course.

General Election

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-47322921.amp

Here is a beeb article that says "The group says the letter was signed by filmmaker Mike Leigh, writer Michael Rosen and author Gillian Slovo, as well as several academics and Walter Wolfgang, 93, who fled Nazi Germany as a child.", there is also a link to a Guardian article that says the names of the people that signed the letter, professor this, professor that and professor the other.

I read years ago that the majority of educated Jewish people were against a homeland created for the Jews (first world war time I believe), they thought they should integrate where they were around the World.
Lots of educated ones in more modern times seem pro Corbyn and anti genocide, just what I've gleaned reading things over the years.
I think the elites and some right wing Jewish people done a number on Corbyn and as a result left wing Jews were done for antisemitism and kicked out of the Labour party, you couldn't write it.

Somebody once said that the Tories are lower than vermin, unfortunately modern Labour are not far behind them, Starmer is the worst for changing his mind like the wind since Ruth Davidson up in Scotland, who was known for it.

I know most don't follow politics closely but if past performance is anything to go by then don't believe a single policy Starmer proposes.
He has no conviction he proposes what he thinks will win him votes then more often than not realises he is out of touch with the public and then does a complete 'u' turn.

Modern Labour are no friend of the working man, they represent the elites just like the Conservatives.

It was probably me - "I wasn't around in the 1930s but a lot has been written about that time period and this feels like it now, poverty, populist, nationalist governments in Europe, USA and across large parts of the World, imperialist powers oppressing people.
Dangerous times."

Lucy Letby Guilty
at 17:23 24 May 2024

She said she was innocent, I never followed the case deeply only headlines here and there and the odd article, I can't be arsed to check this that and the other to argue with a numpty on a forum, but I thought the case was there was no eyewitnesses, no DNA, just the fact she was on duty when these babies died, the thing is there is a well known Dutch case where a Dutch nurse was given life for multiple murders based on being in the wrong place at the wrong time, they let her go when they realised years later that the probability of her being guilty wasnt as high as they first thought just because she was on duty.
It seems like she is guilty to me, lots of babies dead as opposed to the Dutch case where I think it was 4 or 5, but in a case like this why you think somebody that says they are innocent and there is no eyewitnesses etc should not have a defence barrister is odd, you seem to think if somebody is charged or accused that they are guilty, there are many innocent people that have been found guilty and gone to jail over the years.
