Some wonderful footage on this video, well worth the watch. If Wales could keep it to the same scoreline tomorrow I think most supporters would be very happy.
Iām all for this to be fair. It would sharpen up all the 6N sides knowing that the consequences of finishing bottom may be relegation. At the moment, thereās nothing to lose (like football in the US). My question would be where the game would be played.
Thereās no exact science in this my friend, a lot of it is subjective.
But Iād say that the more successful the club has been over the years, silverware, league titles etc. mixed with attendances in good times and bad as well as the commercial attraction they are at home and the rest of the world then they are more deserving.
Yes, the fact the PL is not a closed league and in theory any minnow could get there makes it interesting, of course it does but Iām focussing on the word ādeservingā.
Well itās a pretty good indicator. Maybe not the best all and end all but youād have to say that the more support you get, the bigger club you are and are more deserving of top league football.
I think they are far more deserving of PL membership than Brentford and Bournemouth.
Iām beginning to get a whiff of āthe lady do protesteth too muchā with you Res. Are you sure youāve not been up to all sorts with the local farm animals???
With what we have to choose from, thatās what Iād like to see.
Generally though, there is not enough pace, height or physicality in the squad which is hampering us week in week out. Ronald canāt beat the proverbial egg and we lose at least 90% of aerial battles as well as 50:50s on the ground.
Iām hoping a new coach will instil some urgency in the troops which will help a little but he canāt make them grow unfortunately.
No they wonāt. I think theyāll be there for some time. Theyāre not everyoneās cup of tea but as a club they are deserving of PL football. Great support whatever the state of the club. Iād put Sunderland in that bracket as well.
I never ever bought into this boys club ethos where if LW goes, RM wouldnāt come.
LW was sacked for the benefit of the club. As an employee of SCFC then he should also want the best for the club. And if he made the case that LW was in the clubās best interest, heād have a hard time convincing anyone.
