I think McCartney was more musically trained than he let on.
The guitar in Blackbird is a masterpiece but the way The Beatles changed their direction and invented new genres was nothing less than genius. They had it all.
Contrast that with others who changed with the times such as David Bowie or Queen (both who I respect). Their later work or 80s sh1t as I call it was nothing more than a betrayal to their roots.
Punk by the way is still a favourite of mine. Simple musically but exudes massive amounts of energy. |

Ok, what do we hope for here?
Ordinarily we’d be cheering on Preston who if they were to win would keep Derby down there taking more pressure off us.
But as we are all aware there’s a little more on this game which may make many a Swans supporter hope Derby get the win!
For me, I’m staying sensible and hope for a Preston win. We all know that lot will survive anyway so let’s just think about ourselves. I will of course see the funny side if Derby do win though😁 |

Yes but there’s not a club out there I’d wager who doesn’t have a player or two on the wage roll who they regret buying. Part and parcel of running a football club, it’s not a precise science. |

I think you’re right. Even those who tend to disappoint on occasions were better today viz. Fulton, Ronald. Can’t fault any of them barring maybe Tymon’s penalty attempt.
We got no more than we deserved today. Maybe short changed a little but I’d take that result all day long.
I feared the worst both at 37 secs and 87’ though but we saw something we don’t normally see from a Swans team, fighting to the end. [Post edited 29 Mar 17:28]

They have been incredibly lucky today. That shot going through everyone without a block or deflection is cruel to us. Seems the footballing Gods are still having a laugh at our expense.

The refs normally think that a player in the box with the ball should have been stronger. Technically maybe and like you, very surprised to see it given. |

This is not going our way. We just lack so much confidence. What an awful penalty by Tymon, deserved what it got. Not a pen in my mind but didn’t matter ultimately.
Fed up with this club at the moment, we are just shit in all areas. |
