Funnily enough I was going to say the same thing Dave . Poku and smyth on the correct wings and chuck some crosses in for kone and obkwu let’s see what he can do , need to freshen things up a bit and it would give Adamson some cover as he has looked a bit off it recently |

Have to agree, how many actual shots did the keepr have to save ?
we was slow moving the ball from the back
keepers passing wasnt up to his usual standard , we need to mix if up a bit esp when smth plays through the middle .

if you watch us warm up esp at half time its a few runs , watch the game shuffle left, shuffle right watch the game , dosnt seem to be a structure to it no real stretching done , wasnt it fulham have used to have the exercise bikes on the touchloine for players to use to wamr up not so long ago ? |

madsen is out with a mystery injury we arent worthy enough to know about .
edwards need to move into the middle so its take a chance on how fit clark salter in to fill in for him
would like to try playing the wingers as actualy wingers get to the bye line and stick some crossses in not cut in all the time
and either chair or saito in the ten role vale needs a rest |

Lloyd looked like he sloop;ed for the injury today so guessing hamstring injury , no fan of cycling Ben but not sure he can be blamed for that one , as yes at;Eshan didn’t do much to stop what was happening. Today but with the midfield Aval there’s no surprise , hopefully we get some cash for varanne and invest in a def wide cm who can sit and clear up in front of the back four |

One of varanne biggest weaknesses is his defensive work , switch’s off way to easily
Southampton ha s it easy today play the ball the the number 10 who p,aged just in front of the back four he dropped five yards in across of space and we didn’t once do anything. About it , shame Edwards wasn’t in the middle today as I don’t thin, he would have been given the space he was allowed , vale was vale poku is easy to read gets the the ball can’t cross the ball so has to cut inside by that time manning had got back and made an easy challenge and repeat , the fashion of wingers playing on the wrong side to allow them to come is due boils my pi%% if you have aright footed winger playing on the him on the right leg him get to the touch line and cross the fecking ball , or. At least try swapping them around a bit during the game , midfield killed us today , varanne vale kamarea got schooled in the middle with easy ba§lls past them for 90 mins
One issue I did notice we wasn’t allowing charles to get pretty easy balls in the box , not sure if he’s not that vocal but few times easy collection for charles we’re half cleared etc by Edwards mainly and dunne a few times , didn’t help things at the ba§ckthats for sure |
