Ha. Can't help feeling sorry for Chaz in this. What has the bloke got to do . He's good enough for the prem and there is some shyte getting selected for England ahead of him. I should think that prick from west ham piping up must've been the last straw. I wish the bloke well and hope he makes it to the Euros next summer

It's east end for saying his knee is shot, a bit like 'Arry's was at the end of the transfer window and that there isn't a ligament in sight just a rubber band and the remains of a bazooka bubble gum.

Call me a nasty old cynic, but I wouldn't 100% trust anything Mr Redknapp has to say about knee injuries.

I would offer Charlie a new deal with us, if we get into the PL it doubles, tell him to show these fcktards where to go and make him the face of the club.

Clearly something IS amiss either

a) Those in the game have spoken to Hull City or

b) Charlie wants too much money

otherwise no reason I can think of that he hasn't moved by now

He will go on transfer deadline day, i'm 100% sure on that. He's one of the top English strikers.
I'm assuming we're just holding out on the £15 mill and clubs are making us sweat a bit.

Agree we can afford to stick to our guns now, as we can hold out for a better offer if no one meets out asking price.

At 4pm on deadline day though that £13m offer plus Charlie's wages off the books will probably be an offer the board won't refuse.

Or c) We are asking top dollar for Austin and nobody wants to pay it.

He will have plenty of options on deadline day, but almost certainly not at £15m unfortunately.

Is £15M "top dollar" in the current market for his goalscoring record?

They are talking about Berahino going for double that and Stones (a defender) could go for 3 times that!

The going rate for a decent championship striker seems to be 10 mill.
So 15 mill for Prem proven Charlie seems cheap to me.

It Is What It Is !!

If they take £13m at 4pm on deadline then they're going to look like fools. They could have accepted £12m off Leicester weeks ago and invested some of the funds on a new striker as well as saving Charlie's wages
