That was the situation after the Lincoln game, they had a window up until today when the pitch could have been replaced as it was last season when it was done in a week, that didn’t happen.
They now have ten days until the Wigan game to do the same. If not, that game has to be already in doubt. |  |

I thought the club bought pitch covers to avoid just the situation they find themselves in. Throwing sand onto the pitch week after week is not the answer and that lesson should have been learnt years ago. Every part of the club seems to be in a state at the moment, yet we are probably better off now, than at any time in our history. It seems lethargy has set in for precisely that reason, that we can always throw money at the problem, but not at problems on the pitch. |  | | |
