Netflix question 22:20 - Mar 18 with 3913 views | OutWestR | Hoping someone on here might know the answer to this one... My mum is in her 70s and lives alone, I’m an hour and a half away, so won’t be able to get to see her much. If she’s now got to self isolate, and she’s on her own in a flat, she’s going to go stir crazy pretty quickly. I’ve got a Netflix subscription, if I was to increase it to more than one device, could she download it on her laptop and then login with my login details, or would I need to take out a separate subscription for her. Tried finding the answer on their website but wasn’t obvious, so any help appreciated.
Netflix question on 22:24 - Mar 18 with 3901 views | BrianMcCarthy | OutWest, Half of the Western world is logging in as me! Yes, she can definitely log in as you without logging you out. Your email address and password and she'll be fine. Maximum of six different devices. NB. These are the rules in Ireland at least. Maybe someone can confirm that it;s the same for you. Netflix question on 22:27 - Mar 18 with 3877 views | Lblock | My sister had Netflix and they have an option on it to have 4 users on one account "family membership" type thing. I gave her £72 to take out this option and now my Ma & Pa and me (plus Sister) all have Netflix, HD and separate users sections so we can all compile our own lists etc. It's damn good. Maybe not for your old Mum but Narcos is bloody excellent

Netflix question on 22:27 - Mar 18 with 3877 views | RamseyR | Works for me as well. I log on using my daughter's account. There is a maximum number of screens that can be viewed at the same time. Not sure of the amount, but didn't think it was as many as six. Maybe depends on the contract.
Netflix question on 22:29 - Mar 18 with 3873 views | BrianMcCarthy | Hey be very careful though... Set up two profiles or she'll be getting recommendations based on your Disney loving good times.

Netflix question on 22:50 - Mar 18 with 3830 views | loftboy | We have one account with 5 profiles, one of them is the girlfriends mum who lives 40 miles away, so yes she can use your account. You can even set her profile up from your device so when she logs on from hers it will automatic appear.

That’s handy for you Brian. Especially as in the current climate you are going to find it harder to fly to the US every Sat morning during the season so you can log on to the live stream!
