This is the tragedy of losing our Div 1 status. Good players like Grant regard MK Dons as a big step up. A year earlier - not so much.
Also a team flrting with relegation last season must be quite a putoff to potential signings.
RS really needs to pull something out of the hat .

Shame, I thought he was developing into a good player, especially towards the end of last season. Oh well, a bit more cash in the pot, some inevitable shape shifting and another new name on the team sheet. this club really is proving to be a test for a new manager, we have to hope he is equal to it. BTW, wasn't it rumoured that someone was watching him last season? If so, maybe this isn't a surprise to RS. in which case he must surely have a replacement in mind? |  | | |

I'm disappointed to see him go. He had an awful start to his Dale career, but BBM got it right for once and persevered. He's been inconsistent but he's a Rolls Royce of a footballer; great balance, touch and skill.
We're really lacking in classy, creative players. I think we'll have a hard working squad this season but I have concerns on that extra quality that nicks you points. Grant has that quality. [Post edited 24 Jun 2022 14:08]

Think that's such a shame. Huge potential IMO and incredibly high rated by BBM (who for all his faults could certainly spot a talent) I think he'll go onto much bigger things at some point. |  | | |
