I thought that when me my gf and my mate and his Mrs had it presented as free tapas in Roquetas harbour about 25 years ago. It was melt in the moth delicious and I’ve loved octopus ever since. In Greece it’s the same if not better.

I used to enjoy eating Octopus and then I saw the documentary; 'My Octopus Teacher' and vowed to never eat one again. Very intelligent creatures.

Not seen that but from other sources it has been noted that they're intelligent...and somewhat chewy! Sorry.

Misconception! Calamari is chewy if not cooked to perfection whereas octopus melts in the mouth. And Kerouac you’re absolutely right, I saw the programme so now I only eat it once a year when in Greece or Cyprus.

Is Drameh likely or is it just chat? I feel that if Piroe went and we got those 3 in, we would still be a Piroe replacement short. It could potentially be 5 out with 5 in if the rumours are to be believed.

I wouldn't let this current regime spend a brass farthing, or move, or shift any players around. They could only contrive to make matters worse. Until Winter goes we're going to constantly struggle. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

The couple places I've ever had it must have been cooking it wrong. The legs were OK but the body was like chewing a rubber

He could be excellent but it's just another stopgap in an area where our starters are good players and we have a list of candidates in the academy who would benefit from the opportunities to back them up. I don't mind seeing young players come in on loan when we don't have anyone available to do a job, but central midfielders come on now what's the point?

Possibly Patterson or Ntcham or both on the way out and in as a replacement. But I would like to see Congreve in there, even after Saturday.

The only benefit is if Wolves stay in the premier league and he becomes surplus to requirements. Loves his apartment btw. Oba not far away.

I would say within a few days we can cover his wage but I would suppose something woud have been done to cover his loan fee. Mind you, I think the club might have been laying the poverty game a bit in the lead up to the window, I think it's going to be a massive rush with a bigger domino affect of player movement Wed and Thur.

The way it's starting to look with Ntcham and Pato by the end of the window the first team could effectively be an U23 squad with a few overage players.

I would play the poverty game if I were a football club, hopefully your right with the domino affect. I would still like to see another 3/4 players come in even after we sign the West Ham kid. Maybe we can squeeze some bargains close to the deadline with players like Chiedozie Ogbene of Rotherham. [Post edited 30 Aug 2022 9:11]

I think the sale of Piroe might open up a few things but it doesn't sound like much is happening with Piroe as we speak, maybe clubs are hearing that he is a bit of a sulker. Hearing that a few free agents have been looked at.

Pato is in full training this morning. They are hoping that he is involved Wed night.
